In addition to the nosewheel issue in Nevada, is anybody also encountering slow excelleration? feels like the wheel brakes are partially on then because of the slow excelleration either run out of runway or nosewheel fails.

Jocko417: Just bought a TIR 5 last week and bought a X52pro and pro pedals last year so hard to justify a new controller although because I am a big fan of the A10 would probably get goood use out of one...I am a little tired of Saitek programming problems and lack of real good support.

Hey Mower: That controller in Canadian Dollars would be $620.81 as of rates two minutes ago....Now I like new toys as much as the next guy but that's a lot of beer purchasing funds.

Ryrrar: It must be your slider control...make sure you move it slightly off the closed (rear) movement limit...if you are using JB profile exactly then you have to move it towards the center to stop the input of A or S (inputs for speedbrakes). Hope that helps

Is anybody having problems with the mapped buttons F10, F11 and F12 in this profile? They don't seem to work for me I can only get them to work in the TIR setup by clicking on the bottom of the page but Keyboard presses have no affect. Any idea why? Nevermind, I'm an idiot....had it turned off in TIR!!!

Crunch: When I downloaded your profile and replaced the one in the training file it still came up with the static aircraft being present so I used the Editor to remove both Static a-10cs and then of course they were gone. However when I tried to complete this mission it crashed a little bit into it, just a black screen and a notice it wasn't running.

Crunch: thanks for the quick reply...I have been trying to follow the forums to fix the training mission DSMS by moving or removing the second A-10 but I can't figure out how to actually fix it...I tried using a replacement file from Kylania but it seems to be the very same mission with the overlapping aircraft

I have tried searching the forums but can not find out if there is a Mission Editor Manual....I have also searched the A-10C programs on my computer but can not find a manual for the Mission Editor...Is there one?

Are you running TIR software in Admin mode?

When you say the default profile is this the A-10C profile or am I confusing the game access with a profile?

Kuky: I take it there are controls within TIR but I have no Idea where to start...as far as I know I am just using the default profile...do you make changes on the graphs on the left side of the TIR window?

Thanks for the quick Response....Yes I can really see the advantage to this system and you are right it will get easier with more hours logged...I just don't want to re-invent the wheel so I am trying to get input from experience users of TIR

Just recieved my TIR 5 and installed the most up to date software direct from Natural Point. I understand that you have to run A-10C in 32 bit mode and that you need to start both the TIR and A-10A in Administrator Mode. I have sucessfully flown A-10C by using the profile? Black Shark. I can not find a dedicated A-10C profile. I have a hard time getting a steady closeup view on the Hud andor the MFCDs. Is there a Deadzone adjustment I need to make? Also I note that F7, F9 and F12 are used in the Sim so what should I change the controls on the TIR to. Any help greatly appreciated.:)

Are you sure you are running the 32 bit program and not the 64 bit?

I am waiting for the arrival of my TIR 5 but did not get the Clip as even Natural Point admits (on their forum) that they have a design problem and they are getting quite a few with problems as described by Ragtop.

I have made the changes to the bat file and run Input_to_TXT_eng.bat but no files are generated. Am I missing a step?

Ragtop: That little clip seems to be the big problem all right. I hope that the setup is easy with the TIR...I've been a flight simmer since the 1980 but the lastest software with Saitek seems to be out of control....I have to reinstall my controllers every time I reboot my system...Saitek Forum isn't too helpful either.

Thanks for all the replies...I have ordered the TrackIR 5 from Amazon. I did not get the Clip Pro as I saw on the Natural Point Forum that there were some problems with the design.

I noticed that nearly all Profiles for Joysticks assume that you have a TrackIR. Is it really that much better or is it just that you free up a POV switch.

:DI ordered my copy from gogamer using a US delivery address in Sumas Washington. Gogamer had me use their Google partnership system. I recieved the game within 3 days and when I brought it across the boarder, no taxes added, so it cost me 39.40 US which worked out to 47.28 Can.

Taking out the file made my x52 pro act weird, several functions stopped working and I still had crashes. I did not have this problem prior to changing over to the x52 from a X45. Any suggestions?

CajunRon: I just installed a X52 Pro and also started having the crashes so I will try your solution and let you know if it helps

In all my years of flight simming this is the first time I have run into people from Abbotsford. I am waiting for a response from Gogamer. You can get the game from Amazon.ca but they are charging $63.00 Canadian. Gogamer is 39.90 which is about $49.75 Canadian which is a lot less.
