That is too bad. Does not seem like a major undertaking for something to add immersion to Naval Flight Training. Probably would sell more of the map with the Hornet.

I believe that the F-14B carried JDAMS.

Eh. I hope that we can taxi to the catapult ourselves. I do not want that simulated. Dropping the launch bar also should not be simulated.

That was my understanding. Maybe someone else knows more?

I think they have said that the Heatblur F-14 will almost be a complete product at launch.

DCS has said that it is now in external testing. I do not know what the means for a timetable but I do not believe that it is that far off.

Hey guys, I hope we are witnessing two different styles of module design. The Hornet has already been textured and now is working on radar and other refinements. The Tomcat (from what we have seen) is not textured yet. Did the companies do things in the opposite order? I hope so because it's going to be a long road to release for the Tomcat if they still have to go through what the Eagle Dynamics Hornet is going through. Just some thoughts!

I agree. I think Wags and ED are doing an excellent job keeping the community updated. Also giving us and inside look at how much work they put it to give us a module as realistic as it can be. Thanks guys!

This will not be out before the F/A-18. We are most likely looking at a fall release based on the information that has been provided.
