Same issue here. Completed mission 3 of the RF campaign without problems, but now, on mission 4, getting a CTD just after engine start every time.

This looks great! Signed up, going to start with the training missions.

So when creating a route in the mission editor there is technically no need to create a landing waypoint as the jet will automatically create a base point at the end of the route during the start up. Did I get that right?

Does anyone have any sources on the actual locations of the Egyptian SAM batteries in 1973? Also looking for similar information for the Syrian batteries, incidentally.

I'm following Chuck's guide to fire using Jester to lock targets in STT mode. I can't hit anything. I gather that the aim7m is extremely short ranged in dcs, is that still the case? What's up with the aim 54? Or is it me being a noob? Thanks!

I checked user files, and though there are lots of skins from the period, they all seem to be outdated and no longer work. Shame.

Thank you Martin for that. I guess the map symbols were confusing me. Tuning in the khz worked. Mike Romeo, true. On the other hand I've been putting off learning to use the radio compass for a very long time already.

Is this working? I can't seem to figure it out, but user error is possible. Has anyone got it to function correctly?

All times of day. Didn't test night. Anyway, I updated dx, and reinstalled my gfx drivers and the problem went away, so I dare say it was a problem on my end.

Title. Started after the latest update on the beta. I tried the repair thing, and did a complete reinstall. No mods. Grateful for any advice.

Regarding Gulf Cargo One, I haven't been able to sink any of these ships. Missiles and bombs seem to go straight through them!

Hi, Making a mission on the Persian Gulf map. I would like to launch a large (about 20 a/c) ai force from a base with two runways. The problem is that they all queue up to use only one of the runways. Is there a way for me to force approximately half the flights to use the other runway? Thanks!

As far as I can tell, all Iranian squadrons are based north of the map we have. Most of the UAE AF is based inside the map we have, but some are to the south. I'd also love a list of NATO squadrons in the area and their bases. I couldn't find anything specific. Sorry about the lack of sources. It was a recon session on Google, and I didn't bookmark anything properly.

UAE has no ground units at all assigned to it. The closest approximation of units used would be good enough for me. I assume other middle eastern nations are the same at the moment.

I'd be happy if I could place the apartment blocks. Trying to build any kind of city with shacks and whatnot doesn't do it for me...
