This is happening to me also.. https://1drv.ms/f/s!Ar3g7DvN5ZPdhytIpxVMQ8u1vZbJ

Roll Coupling should be a factor at Higher Supersonic speeds the yawing and pitch momentum of coupling in the mig's new FM is easy to notice at any speed. Rudder is very sharp and gives a very hard time for corrections, rolling is also very sharp at any speed and the inertia is nowhere. I am not a scientist but I can tell what looks natural or not. This effects are not linear to speed, I hope M3 will take in advice the former FM used in 1.2 put the correct numbers on it to match the Aerodynamics and performance tables they posses and everyone be happy.

Questions about MiG-21 FM after todays update.

Is it realistic to operate with it in more complex situations? And is it to pilot's choice or something you operate by book in specific circumstances? -

Dolphin can u help me understand better the SAU Stabilize system. Currently flying with stabilizer on helps me control the aircraft a lot more efficient. -

Like this ? https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3097735&postcount=2736 If you thing I am bushing over M3 cause I like it your are wrong. Mig 21 is the only thing I am interested in DCS atm and it feels wrong. One more thing go M0,7 and use fool rudder L or R try to keep it level...some things are so wrong. -
Questions about MiG-21 FM after todays update.

You mean no inertia when stopping the roll, plus have you tried to use the rudder at all? Or watch how the aircraft behaves on that axis. Try maneuvering at low speed using rudder, I recall Dolphin talking about the rudder being responsible for rolling the aircraft at low speed as the ailerons are inefficient at low speed and high AoA maneuvers. Please go check it out. -

I am glad you enjoy it. I can't. If they introduced this FM from the beginning I would not have purchased the module. -

I am not questioning Dolphin and I have respect for the guys, but this is wrong 100% to my eyes. Horrible wrong. -
Questions about MiG-21 FM after todays update.

Yes it does. I was supposed to posses a released version months ago. No I won't. I am a customer. I was patient for a long time. I was supportive for a long time, I was expecting better and delivered less, I am a customer and an unhappy one. The data I am using is that the feel of the only DCS AC I was enjoying flying is gone in on wrong patch. I don't need to waste more time proving anything. I made my point. The FM looks fake enough for ME to stop enjoying the product. The last FM was more proper for ME felt proper, my only issue was low AoA achievable. I really don't feel I need anybody to patronize me, I know how things work just don't wanna follow. My opinion is that soon if this update go to public more people will notice how wrong update this was. Maybe I am right maybe I am wrong, still if I think this doesn't suite me, I have the right to comment to that, feel disappointment and angry. -

:joystick:Just run some more quick flights in it. Oversensitive roll response in X axis 35 curves which advance in very fast rolls as speed increases. Aileron Booster set to off roll has more natural response, however this switch is mandatory to be on in flight especially in high speed maneuvering tho I was able to maneuver just fine in any speed and I was in better control. :joystick: Enabling stabilizer gives me a lot better feel off the aircraft in all axis except rudder which is horribly changed to make the ac unstable especially in low speed level flight (landing) and maneuvers. The mig was supposed to be rudder efficient to low speed and used for roll extensively which in the OB is forever gone. Using rudder to roll is a no go in this FM. -

Honestly I was fine with the previous ones. AoA was my only issue. This feels way to much unreal for me (speaking only for the roll rate) and every video I watched so far the inertia was there, now when the input stops the aircraft magically locks attitude and a small bounce to the opposite side of the input is visible, exactly the same experience I have with the F-15C or the M2KC. FM and the feel of it was the reason I fly the mig and that feeling is complete off now. -

Dolphin ok about the roll rate, but it doesn't feel right after the vanishing of the roll inertia, it just doesn't comply with my senses. I am trying to spend more time but It's not something I can digest. It feels wrong. I am not a dev or an expert at aeronautics and can not make my point valid. It is just wrong to me. I will wait and see other users thoughts on the new FM. -

Dolphin I used about 10-15 for X and Y it was fine. I just had to set the curve to 40 just to be in control. Where is the inertia where did drag go. The only positive I saw was stall behavior. This update is wrong I can't comment more. Go see for your self. I just installed release again cause I wanna fly the mig not M2k and the mig in the OB feels like more a mirage to me sorry. BTW thanks for the starforce update and the keys. -
I ran to my pc today to install the new OB so I can taste all the cookies M3 got for us today only to find my jaw on the floor by how the mig feels so alien and unreal like ever before! Honestly how the hell can this gone out?! Roll inertia is complete gone, plus the plane acts more like a violent FBW system is on it! The hole feeling I had flying the mig even in the latest buggy release version is gone. Honestly i just flew the take off instant mission to found that alien thing rolling like there is no tomorrow. I won't even bother to post a track or file or video or post on bug tracker. This is nuts go see for your selfs and fix it! I AM TIRED!

Lancer is not Soviet or Russian at all. Bison and 1993 is.

First off don't let your speed drop below 500k whilst entering a turning fight. Always have a open window (tha means enter the fight High not low) if you turning fight in the bis. IF turning fight caught you below 600-500k use your rudder for rolling the aircraft with small Roll Axis inputs. You always use ur rudder in the bis but below that speed you need it to roll. Watch you AoA indicator closely, Yellow portion is the optimum for high G maneuvers. Right now AoA in the bis is very limited consider it's a Delta tail wing AC. But you can still pull enough in a high speed 800> and 6g> turn. All in all be fast, escape on time, don't pull negative g, use flaps to turn tighter for short time and train to always neutral your pitch before using roll inputs.

+ a trillion! Maybe Baltic can do something for us hopefully!

Alpenwolf, flied the mission shortly today and looks great, far better than previous obsolete setups.Great job. But I have some remarks :D : Red Bulls( don't know about Blue) is far out of the theater of operations. I suggest you put it upon an RSBN station Nalchic or Mozdok so Migs can have a proper reference. Red AWACS is (A-50) first of all an airborne RU side breaks the immersion for me at the period of the theater. Ground based EWR is far better option for red (doesn't need refueling wpnt's and it's consistent) and for blue E2D. ex. todays flight was with both AWACS on ground. total disaster . Su-25t has no weapons limitations, I just blinded Blue side with a way too long salvo of 58's. 25U will do the job and will make it harder? CBU's and all the american nukes should be out of choise, plus weapons that entered service later than the theater of operation. AIM 9m(A-10c, Hawk)?? R-73's (25) ?? HAWK? HAWK..the dmg model of this atm "not flaming devs" is garbage and kills the game (had a fight once where the guy accepted this was unfair and landed a wingless ac on our base to end it..omfg) Last but not least, the sam coverage over main bases should be a little more "restricted" SA-6 today would not fire into enemy trespassing "lethal" airspace in their lethal range. Thank god S-19 where awake! :D Just my two cents to make this mission really great, at least on my end, that is the direction. Your server serves us well so far! GJ!
