I don't even understand why ED is pushing updates on the Stable and not on the OB. I really dont't understand, have they forgotten that the have a hole seperate brunch to test updates? Why do I have to do their work and go again and roll back my version on Release just so I can fly the Mig? -

Damn! Cool man!Thnx! OK R77 looks really cool on that thing. My final test on R 77 / AIM120 & AIM9 / R 73 . All radar and active radar missiles will get tone at below 10 km, but you can override that with the Bomb Arm switch. However many time the missile's are goin MadDog. From the LA zone the missile's are deadly. IR are not all aspect only rear and sometimes side aspect. Range will depend on type. R73 lock tone 6-5 km & AIm9 about 8-9km. Bombs work like a charm especially snakeeys look really nice on the mig. Thnx for all the time I m so happy with this mod!

Ok made some tests. AIM 120 will have LA at 10km and Below the missile is ofc Pitbull! :D AIM9 same range but not at all effective range (about 5 km or less). Western paylod rocks for now. And I don't know if it was in your intension but everything is in Mig21bis capabilities which looks so realistic and not at all overpowered! Very nice work! Goin for more with ER/ET and R-73. Wish I could see the R-77.

This is a skin attempt I made. They look nice but on closer look I made mistakes which I can't correct atm. If you really want them I can pm you a link. I'll publish when I fix the errors if someone else doesn't do In the meantime.

The SPS-141 doesn't work in the latest patch. The pod is loaded correctly but the control panel is missing disabling the pod..anyone else notice that? Apart from chaff/flares not dispensing correctly, IR missiles not having tone randomly at all. Also the SPS-141 not working..Mig is creepled once more..I m really sad. I will be on my PC in a couple of hours so I can show you exactly how my set up is. If you like I can sent the files. It works like a charm Ok here you go https://1drv.ms/f/s!Ar3g7DvN5ZPdhkQBdw2RVo3NI8V3 1st file (.pro) is the editors profile 2nd The keybinds I use if you wanna give it a try just putt in the blank brakets your device's ID and you are good to go. Always like IceFalcon said load your profile in this case Mig21.pro before launching dcs. Rotarys are set as: Mouse rotary behind throtle, pylon selection, up & down. IF Shiftet for Up & Down Will Switch IR/Sahr. Middle mouse will engage Emerg. AB. and if shifted (Pinkie switch) will On/Off AB. Top rotary is useless I dont use it. Slider set as Wing Span Knob. Rotary On Clutch BTN is TDC Range Rotary on Stick is Switching Air / Ground and puts IR/Sahr Switch to Neutral.

Hi! I use my profile editor with no assignments. The only thing I set is, disable the clutch button, enable the mouse button as a noraml key press ( I use my SPD break toggle there) and also the 3 position rotary on the top of stick as normal key presses. Then all the key bindings are in game. The only thing you need to do is a nable the profile from the app and it good to go. Sent from my HUAWEI G510-0100 using Tapatalk

Make sure you are not using the "Warhead enhancement" mod cause it will make R-60's really bad.

I encountered that problem before some time. I don't think that it's related to any dead zone, rather than payload that looks symmetrical but it isn't. I wish I could remember more. Plus the SPS-141 control panel doesn't show up on install. At least at airstart.

As much as I really look forward to FC3 to start fading from complex servers like BF, you have to understand the necessity of these type of platforms due to their role. It doesn't matter if it is easy to take off land and the system simplicity, fighting is fighting and it doesn't make any difference of you fly something complex or simple. Fighting and executing special missions is a very complex part of itself. My own recomendession to reduce the "earquake" as you guy's are saying is a simple systemic logistics. Simple poot, an F-15 is a very expensive aircraft thas fewer F-15 slots but f-5 are very cheap so more and etc. You don't need thus many cap fighters in a mission. Also same goes for missiles, 120 to expensive, aim7 cheaper. Give the pilots one more headache to choose and think carefully before launching missiles and etc for all the rest. These are words form a pretty valid source and a accurate simulation. Not to mention other more valid sources about the AA-8. How far are we from getting perfomace base to real data at a reasonable realistic way? "The AA-8 Aphid was the first Russian missile designed specifically for dogfighting. The missile uses a peltier-cooled IR detector for all-aspect capability and a high tracking rate to follow targets manuevering at up to 12G. The seeker also has +-20 degrees gimbal limits allowing shots farther off boresight than earlier missiles. The missile can be launched from a fighter manuevering at up to 8G. To achieve this maneuverability, the missile's designers traded range and size. As a result, the Aphid must get within a few feet of its target to have a good chance of causing serious damage. The AA-8 has not demostrated strong combat perfomance. Syrian MIGs firing AA-8s failed to score against Israeli Air Force uring the 1985 invansion of Lebandon."
