  3. I don't seem to understand your problem. It works fine for me and I believe for a lot of people. I can tell where I am spiked from and also estimate the threat. The issue I found and it is being caused only on multiplayer is that sometimes I can see the DIR light but not the sound OR hear the sound but not the light. This is only on MP and I don't think its wrong on MIG side rather than some lag or comms between clients,
  4. Radar must be "usefull" as it should be and RWR must be "usefull" as it should be. Mig21bis will be "usefull" as it Should be and nothing more. Rwr and radar are as much accurate as ever before. Try to deal with the fact that your are only flyign a Mig21bis and it can do as much as it is simulated vs the real aircraft. Prieching the threads all over again with fix requests about wont make the module better in multiplayer. They are already doing you a favor you should know. Spo-10 when locked by radar should give you No directional Indcations! It will be usefull when you fully understand it and use it correctly. Awacs-Search radars have different freq than fighters or SAM sites, the freq also corresponds to the power of the radar. A radar strong enough to shoot you in long range will bling and beep as fast as a short range radar closer to you. That means also that you will see all 4 lights with the lock wanring tone from those radars at longer ranges! The Spo-10 was made to track some types of western fighters back in the days and the 5km was then the threat range you wanted to get the Danger Close Warnings. Stronger Radars the Faster you are left with no clue of the threat.

  6. Actually you should know that the Su-25 uses two Mig-21 engines :D So yeah i think the external sounds are Ok at some point. If u ask me everytime I'm in pit and there is a Mig spooling up engs I can tell there is a Mig near me.
  7. No need to be so harsh. The Mig was and is one of the few modules that was brought to us 99% operational (1% is SPS-141) in 1.2 . Yeah there are bugs and big problems that came with 1.5 making the aircraft not battle ready. LN is a new team and they are bringning to us the most desired and iconic aircrafts. When DCSW will be stable everything will go back to normal as was in 1.2.
  8. Yeah confirm just did bug is also in SP FOV of missile more than intented and will choose Friendly among al targets
  9. No it can check your using the correct ECM filter and you are in range to spot the target i have no probs over that.
  10. Something I stumbled upon. Sometime at random the RWR will play sound but the directional Light wont lit and vice versa. Nothing to serious well unless that last sound and light was your last directional warning :P

  12. For all we know and from what I've discussed with other community members here in numerous post about the SPS-141. The jamming is as simple as the other FC3 AirCrafts. 1)Power On 2)Select Active (For jammer) Passive could be for passive CMS = chaffs and other non fucntion capabilities 3)Program I/II (unknown funct, I would say one Is for Airborne Radars and other for muds) 4)Cont/Imp (Could be Frequency of jamming pulses) However tests show no difference In jamming image or jamming ability. F-15C will burn through at 30miles S-27 at 20km with lock ability somewhere below that.
  13. The only FPS issues I encounter that relay on the Mig is frame drop when closing the canopy. Opening and closing it seems to give me different FPS results. MP only tested. Release Version with HotFix .
  14. I can tell the same with Bane, about Fps loss ppl are speaking, I don't have the best machine so I always had problems with FPS. After the binaries i did had big FPS drops near or close big towns, but after running numerous tests and settings plus disabling the new binaries I can't say it comes from that rather that the sim it self.

  17. Similar yes. It was a lua file,it had options for low medium and high vis range and in it a table with obj within it the structures. I remember I could lower the values and get similar results. Thanks for the info will try. Mig-21 Headbutter
  18. However the radar works fine, for that was the fuss about, there is nothing to stop you now from flying and fight. Plus thus was off the press ED has nothing to do with it you now can enjoy the aircraft and wait for the official update with the new fixes. Mig-21 Headbutter
  19. I'm wondering. Is the video memory on the fps counter reading the GPU memory or the ram. Cause it reads about 4g for me.my GPU vram is 2g Mig-21 Headbutter
  20. Actually R-60M is an limited all aspect, that means not head on aspect but side,top,bottom,rear aspect. And its working fine. Don't know about the FOV tho. Right now its buged to the Migs benefit but its wrong. Even when I tested with Su-25T the R-60M was limited/narrow in FOV had to aim to the target.
  21. Thnx for the guide especially on the AMD software. However my bigger problem is flying over city's. Fps drop dramatically.. Msa 4x, anti. 8x, view dist. Medium. No HDR, fov, or len's. Shadows are flat only. I remember a post on how to remove number of 3d buildings but no matter how I search I can't find it.. Mig-21 Headbutter
  22. I've just gone at 1.4 on the deck "cat I" payload. If you are flying at high alts you need to watch the tachometer center of the front wall, that tells your current mach speed. I like how its now difficult to achieve a lock when target is at range and or you have a cluttered radar screen. Far more difficult. All IR missile have a very wide FOV that ofc will be back to normal soon, but also IR are very easily decoyed by flare, even in close ranges.
  23. I own an AMD 7770 2g ddr5 I will test what u suggest. But after I make a new fresh install of dcs cause all the back and forth broke the game Mig-21 Headbutter

  25. Those buildings are eating to many resources for no reason. Flying over a city is a no for me. I don't understand why we care so much for a damn building in a flight sim.
