I almost never use the mav's own slewing functions, its really annoying. From memory it locks the first thing it sees when you stop slewing, and if there are lots of targets in close proximity most of the time it locks the wrong thing, or decides a random house is the best thing to lock onto.

With mav set SOI Ground Stabilize is TMS Aft default keys are leftCtrl+down. Track is TMS forward short default keys leftCtrl+up. I don't think RightAlt+up is a default keybinding. RightAlt+Down is is boat switch center, which is force correlate with mav SOI, maybe that's what you are thinking of.

I might be wrong and i don't really know what I'm talking about. But when you are on the ground/low speed would the wind pushing on the larger surface area of the vertical stabilize impart enough rotation to turn the nose towards the direction of the wind requiring rudder in the opposite direction to counter. -

In 1.5 I'm not noticing any fps drop because of it, I'm running at around 60 most of the time. But in 1.2 i did not use it as it dropped the fps below 30. With that said i did upgrade my cpu from a i7 930 to a 4790k in the time between using it in 1.2 and 1.5 and i have to use a ridiculous resolution because of how my monitors are setup, i think it is something like 6400x2520. -

If you have nothing the game considers a left or right mfd on the aircraft you are flying it will just be black. But if you are in su27 for example the hdd will be considered a right mfd so will show wherever you set the right mfd. -

You use coolie hat to set SOI, not TMS or DMS. -
It feels really inconsistent. Some times while trying to be as careful about it as possible e.g 20kph to a stop i will blow a tire. Other times while messing around ill go full brake from 100kph to a stop and be fine. the only thing that is consistent is if i use a full fuel load i will burst a tire when turning onto the runway at i don't know maybe 10 kph with no braking.

I am having the same language problem, maybe i am blind but i cant find any way to change it in the options menu. I am using the latest version of the beta on steam witch is 1.5.1.47025, i don't know if this is the latest, maybe steam is late with the update? -

The problem i am having is in the a10c i get no radar lock warning tone, from all ground based radar. I think airborne radar as well but i have not been able to test that. I can reproduce it every time i play whether its multiplayer or single player and i have a friend who also has the problem. We are both using the steam version if that makes a difference and have tried reinstalling and repairing to no avail. We have never used any mods and out of the modules we own is only happening in the a10c. I have included a track and the mission used in the track, i don't know if you will hear or rather not hear the problem when you watch it. I set the cmsp to auto and you can see it knows when you are locked as it starts dumping countermeasures like auto normally does but i get no lock tone. no lock warning tone.trk logs and sysinfo.rar rwr test.miz

I would say after you are comfortable with Flaming Cliffs 3 the mig-21 is a good next step. It has just the right amount of stuff to challenge a new player but not overwhelm them and the tutorials/manual are good and easy to follow.

Any word on this as its rather frustrating trying to engage a sam when you cant hear when it starts locking you. I have tried reinstalling and repairing and it is still missing for all ground based radar and i think fighters as well but i have not tested that.

Is it on a server that does not allow external view? because i think that might be the reason.

One thing i noticed is that if you set the cms to auto it still knows when you are locked and dumps all you countermeasures like it usually does. So it looks like its a bug with the script or whatever is controlling the audio playback rather than the rwr itself.

I don't have the lock tone either but i also am missing the launch warning sound for any SAM or aircraft i tried showing a track of it to a friend but he said he could hear it so i don't think linking a track will help.

Me and a friend are having a bug in multiplayer where specific ground units are not visible, i have only noticed it happen with patriot battery components and bunkers. It happens client side the host can see them normally. It did not matter if it was him hosting or me. On any mission we made to test if it was repeatable after the 5th unit that was placed the rest of the patriot components were invisible. it did not seem to affect other unit types, in the screen shots it only shows m1 Abrams but in different missions everything we placed other than patriots and possibly bunkers were normal. Despite being invisible they were still able to fire. We only saw it happening while flying the a10c but i expect it would affect all modules. Also nothing was set to invisible in the editor and i will attach the mission we were using to get screenshots. Sorry if the screenshots are unclear i can try to get some better ones from my friend if you cant see what i mean. invisible test.miz

[1.5 Open Beta] Thrust turns red when Zoom bound to Slider 1

Running as administrator did not work for me using an x52pro. I have also tried deleting my mig-21Bis config folder which fixes it until the next time i run the game after mapping the thrust axes. I am using the steam version if that helps. update: I reinstalled the 1.5 beta and it seems to be fixed. -
I'm getting a strange bug with the thrust axis and a non existent conflict every time i launch the game. To fix it i have to delete the input folder and re do the controls, that will work fine till i restart the game then it will be conflicted again. Sorry if this should be in the 1.5 bug section it was only happening to the mig so i posted here.

As the title says when trying to perform AAR in the A-10A i won't take on any fuel. The Tanker will say you are taking fuel but i don't get any. I attached a track so you can see if i am doing anything wrong, it takes a few attempts to connect for a good amount of time as i am new to AAR so you might want to fast forward it a bit. a10a refuling not working .trk
