  1. Thanks for the last update, it has brought some well needed improvements! Here are some things that I have noticed since than: Bugs: The button binding for AFK only turns AFK lever on, the only way to pull it up is to click on the lever it self. The binding for "Altimeter setting down - slow" is missing The jettisoned canopy does not jettison in the external model. Animation for reverser engages if AI uses air brake. Nice to haves: Would be nice to have the axis binding for the radar elevation. A bigger lock gate in ep13 (the current one is pretty much invisible in VR) Pilot body :D Entries for Viggen weapons in the encyclopedia
  2. You need to set QFE correctly if you want to see the target indicator circle in the correct spot before setting trigger to unsafe in the ANF mode.
  3. I couldn't have said that any better!
  4. This document is in english and mentions a two dimensional wing? https://ntrs.nasa.gov/archive/nasa/casi.ntrs.nasa.gov/19860019453.pdf There is also this one about the aerodynamics of saab 37: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8bCDRcq9BVebGs1aUdtVklxZHc/view Fianlly there is a load of Viggen related documents here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=168144&highlight=aerodynamics
  5. Great to hear :)
  6. I agree, pilot body is crucial in VR.
  7. Its alright, I have no problem with people preordering F14. I just hope that the Viggen does not become abandoned as it will obviously no longer be the main source of the revenue to the company. Its cool if you preordering to support the devs. But if you are preordering to enjoy F14 from the day 1 you might end up a little frustrated as I was with our beloved flying Christmas tree. Also Why is F14 highjacking this thread
  8. I know that this has been said many times, however the only thing the free Hornet made for me is that it made me really really miss the pilot body in the Viggen. I really hope that we can get it soon.
  9. Thank you! Thi is exactly what was bugging me!
  10. Hey! As in title this mission tends to crash when you destroy the targets. I have reported that About a year ago. Here is the screen.
  11. According to this review at 2.23.20 The performance in DCS is terrible.
  12. You mean drift in the yaw axis? I have also noticed that a long time ago, but I always treated it as a aerodynamic gimmick of Viggen. It never really bothered me and you can fix it with rudder trim.
  13. I guess in a number of weeks that is greater than 1 but smaller than 3? It has been promised to be "almost done"TM and "Soon"TM
  14. I am hyped. I love the Bronco.
  15. Thank you very much for the answer. I have already moded the trigger in my radar stick so that it works the way speed brake on TM warthog does.
  16. Also, find an optimal head position and press R alt + keypad 0 and you will never again think about it.
  17. Mirrors are actually ridiculously difficult to implement. Because in the game whichever direction you are looking at, there is actually nothing behind you. Things have to be separately rendered for mirrors. And having a realistic mirrors is an entirely different ball park. Playing in VR i have so far experienced only one game where mirrors act like real mirrors and that game is Live For Speed.
  18. Yeah, also that.
  19. Great that you guys gave some useful answers here, so that other don't have to hack things together with a soldering gun like I did :) ALSO, TODAY I HAVE LEARNED TO SEARCH THE FORUM I AM A DUMB ASS
  20. Some plane have systems to recover from black out. For example T38 (and maybe f5) have a weighted pilot stick, where it naturally centers the more you pull g the more it wants to go forward. Also sometimas my viggen ends up flying neutral ish g for really while, without recovering.
  21. Thanks for pointing that out! I have actually noticed it after I wrote this post.
  22. Unlike other modules once you black out in Viggen, you are usually done for. Is that how it really is? The pilot in Viggen usually does not seem to recover from black out. On top of that it is very easy to black out. Sometimes all you have to do is to fly with ALT autopilot on at Mach 1+ and disable autopilot. Any comment on that?
  23. Actually RAlt + 0 works. Thanks everyone.
