  1. At 6:00 I fire missiles but I don't have the radar on. Can't understand why you'd need a radar for heatseekers. But then again, maybe something's changed. Maybe I should try some tonight.
  2. Logic and reason - right there
  3. If you're talking about the Microsoft Anniversary Update (optional), DON'T get it. AVOID! It totally screwed up my rig, every game got laggy and stuttery after I installed it, all this because of the Xbox-app and it's video recorder working in the background. What I did first was to disable the video recorder (DVR or whatever it was called, inside the Xbox-app). But that didn't really do much. I mean sure, things got smoother but not as smooth as before. So I reverted to my previous Windows version...and voila, no big change at all! (should have known those reverts never work). So I reinstalled my whole rig on friday evening and now things are back to normal, no more stutters! To hell with Microsofts Anniversary Update I say - to hell with it! :)
  4. Yeah, my thought exactly! (truth: I totally missed it ;) )
  5. See, THAT'S the spirit! Have a cigeratte and smile. In the cockpit ;)
  6. Never heard that one before ;) You CAN remove the clouds in the mission editor...but then you are no longar an oldschool french macho pilot. It's your choice :joystick:
  7. NEVER A WASTE!!! (I can hear the intro tune already)
  8. I did have my ideas about the gazelle, maybe trimming down the crew in the back from five persons to three. But nah, it wouldn't "fly" so to speak ;) Not with all the explosives or the pickup of refugees or other teams.
  9. I see you're french...try not to listen to the radio communications, OK? ;)
  10. Try the Mi-8, Razor18 - it's even more demanding ;)
  11. @Kartoffel - RIGHT ON! :)
  12. LOL, good you found it anyways :)
  13. @rge75: Thanks buddy :) And yeah, I'm already mentally prepared for the big move to 2.5. I'm assuming there will be work to do. But that's OK, the end goal is pretty damn worth it :) Both Hogs campaign have been updated with mission #7 now. That tank DOES explode, if you manage to get the hitsquad in place that is
  14. Yeah, I think it's in the briefing. Do you want me to check it for you tomorrow?
  15. About this: Just tried it and yes they just sat there on the roof. But they all fired off two or three RPGs each. Didn't make a dent on that tank  Will sort this tomorrow
  16. About this: I just tried mission #5 myself and there was no problem at all. The guys entered and then I got the cleared for takeoff. But what I'd totally forgotten about was the new calendar/sun movement. It was just before sunrise and dark as hell! (earlier version was way past sunrise) And that VERY dangerous AAA on top of that tall building...it was asleep. Didn't fire a single shot until I was like 200 yards away from it. But guess what, I won't change a thing. This was perhaps for the better good :)
  17. Thanks, man :) I'm semi-working on a Vietnam campaign with the Huey. But as I've tried out the F-5 now, maybe there's a way to make a smart combo with it? I mean the F-5 just screams VIETNAM! But combos are hard, in fact I get a headache already ;) Creativity?! I don't "get" it all the time, it sort of comes and goes. Right now I'm hard pressed with everything going on: The F-5, the Mirage2000, the release of Battle of Moscow on Steam. There's so much to try out! But once things settle, I'll get back to the drawing board.
  18. Best of luck ;)
  19. I'm sorry but that is not for you to decide. Follow orders.
  20. DAMN, that must have been a sight :)
  21. Hey all and sorry for not checking in. As I understand it, we have this "troops breaking the tail"-bug right now. That must be sorted by the devs, otherwise all future chooper operations are canned. @Peet Glad you liked it! :) And good info on those RPG-guys. Wonder what it is, will check it out. About mission 5: didn't you get the "Cleared for takeoff"? It's supposed to work like that but as we have infantry problems (again)...it might be that they don't reach their trigger zone. To summarize: I test everything like three times before release and I try to make things as waterproof as possible. But as you can all see, nothing is guaranteed to work after every update. I know, I don't want to sound like a sad complainer but sometimes I get the impression the updates we get aren't really checked in advance. It's like they don't know exactly what they update. Shitty old scripts gets revived, loose ends this, more old code that...anything goes. Hey devs, check the consequences of your updates - BEFORE releasing them. I've worked in software packaging/testing myself and I would have been warned for real if I made a mistake (every patch/update I released got installed on 70k computers worldwide). And I'd for damn sure be fired if I made a second mistake. Yeah, that's how things run out there.
  22. Ah, now I get it! You got too high up. As in you got detected. Sorry about this, but read your orders.
  23. Did you follow orders? Were you to land at Sukhumi or not? EDIT: Which mission do you mean exactly?
  24. And you're obviously doing good, some people can't get past the first mission :)
  25. Thanks! And best of luck ;)
