My pleasure to fly Red Flag is to fight "FOX3 Flow" vs great players doing short skate and good quick combat phases, for me it's less boring than "Banzaî" Fox1 flow where you shoot, Fpole, close, and get wrecked by 54 others bandit cause you are low, slow, ending up in dogfight... People should adapt to the rules instead of trying to change them every time. And yes going 1v1 head-on vs Fox3 you will get wrecked if you fly mirage, but we should better work on tactics(dephase the fight to have beam entry) instead of trying to change the rules. Veritech your chances to die vs fox1 are exactly the same than fox3, Weapon i think is a false excuse, with our lack of organisation, we will get wrecked exactly the same, even faster... In my vision, merge is good when online PVP lonewolf again average people, with a high risk level, unlimited lives, here, in redflag with 1 life, vs 104th 51th getting always support in depth there is no reason to go to merge as you will get splashed by the support wingy as soon as you are merged with the lead element...(this only if you arrive alive til the merge)... it's period THe goal of BVR is to not go to the merge. Merge shouldn't be seen like a goal in BVR flow but more like a proof of bad organisation or poor SA.

If you want to do real life kind of stuff just make a table with the in game value in all configuration in standard atmosphere.

For the mirage the most important thing is the Jx (box with Number on hud) Jx is THE way to control the nominal acceleration of the aircraft regarding Conf/payload, QNH,T°C,Runway state, afterburner or dry. Before the flight, crew, compute the Jx then eventually the Vr wich is not as important as the Jx. The Jx is checked at 80 Kts, if you don't have at least Jx Mini wich is Nominal Jx minus 10 per cent you have to abort! Dry power on brakes Engine RPM & T7 checked (95-103% T7>800°C<870°C 88Kg/min ish) No warnings Breakes released, Afterburner! 3 secs after check PC light On FuelFLow>300Kg/min 80Kts Jx>Jx Mini Vrot rotate

I don't think coming from BMS change anything. A good DCS BFM player IMO will do pretty good as well in BMS vs hard BMS player i'm pretty sure. Once you understood it, you can apply it to all planes. It's just a practice practice practice stuff, and as well understanding, some people will never get it, some will get it very fast. Best way to learn is by getting wrecked there is no secret, then second, set up a 1v1 server with an "alright" dogfighter and get live explainations with in game pause plus tacview.

Grrrrrrr GCI is not your mom, it's more a fail safe to enhence SA, as a pilot in command you should know exactly where you are at anypoint, instead of bothering every body by asking where you at every 2 min. .. Trying to sound cool by talking trash on radio, is anti productive....

Do you know that lot of plane have IRL L16 or IPad that give instant posit even the Super Etendard was flying with that... And in eagle im pretty sure they have instant self posit/ ennemy posit bulls nowdays instead of doing HSI point to point which is impossible when doing proper BVR with multiple assets i agree with WInchester on that point... If you want realism then provide your medical class 1 certificate if you want to join the serv.

We maybe talked about that already but would it be possible to have temporary respawn for fighter when we captured field? For exemple being able to respawn at mykop or krasno if that field has been captured and at least few fighter have landed there to activate respawn.

Yo Cebo, Here, if i may, my two cents. Try now to fly a mach number when above 20Kft, Knots are useless and not representative. RUle of thumb average Jet working speed: mach 0.85/0.9 try this: -Go 20Kft -Go full burner straight level -Intercept mach 0.9 then, and only after getting mach 0.9 -Climb, and control your speed using the pitch and never descend below 0.9 mach. If you conserve at or > mach 0.9 til 45Kft, you should be able to increase speed because you have proper mach, proper AOA, thus proper DRAG that thrust can overcome to accelerate. Skool
