Thanks for the tip Griffon, it now seems to be working again, but i will do a few testflights to make it sure. I must say i feel slightly stupid. I have tried so much an the cause was somewhere completly else. To the idea to check the exclusive box i should have come by myself :doh: Thanks for the help and sorry for wasting your time ^^

Hey folks, last night, i thought my F7 key died, so i asked for someone to help me asign it to an other key. PiedDroit replied that it might have something to do with TrackIR. He was right ( thx for that btw ). I turned TrackIR off and made a testflight, all worked fine. So i looked trough the Hotkeys in the Profile XML but none was binded to F7. I wanted to go safe an binded everything to other keys and made another testflight. Not working. So my question know is, where do i have to look for to change that?? It slowly drives me crazy, because everything worked fine until now. Would be really thankful if someone could help me :helpsmilie:

Short story, while flying online chasing some MiGs behind enemy lines, i found myself in a disadvantageous situation caused by my "F7" key, which decided to quit it's service. Personally i can't exist without AWACS so i use this key very often ( which will certainly be the reason for it to break ) so i tried various ways to map the function to an other key on my keyboard... without success. I tried to use an other key, simulate the F7 key trough a makro key and so on... Nothing! DCS doens't identify the makro key and the other attempts were useless as well. Maybe there is a kind fellow out there, willing to help someone in need and describe a way to solve the problem:helpsmilie: The answer may be obvious but i can't find it. (Logitech G110 with Logitech Gaming Software 8.53.186)

Nothing more to say. LN, you did outstanding work with this beauty. For me, it has something on it none other module can offer by now. I think it is the dedication and the love for detail that makes the MiG-21 to what it is. Props LN, be sure we will stick with you.

This looks like the AERO magazines ( I collected them aswell :P ) and they came out first in 1983 I believe. Don't have this specific one with an in detail "review" ( must be one after No. 165 ) but in No. 14 from late 83 early 84 the 120's aren't mentioned on the F-14.

Saitek was always a grate choice if it came to sim products, but as soon as MadCatz took over the Company the quality has gone down to hell. Same with the customer support.

So maybe i buy the grip and thrust levers first for the TM base and 3 months later i want to buy the base? Would be interessting in its possible, gives Customer way more options. And have you throught about some kind of warranty? Few questions i know, im just interessted :D

@snowtiger every thrust level shows one axis when its locked and unlocked. I tried so many things now and a this point im pretty certain its faulty. Madcatz support isnt able to help me with this problem, seems they dont even know if its fixable or not. I contacted the seller, hope i can ship it back. I liked this HOTAS very much, but it was way to frustrating making it run properly, so maybe i go with the tm warthog this time.

No it doesnt at least as far as i can tell you, i tested it with warthunder and other stuff even with the software, same thing. yes warrant is still on, its just 3 weeks old. If its broken i won't by a new one. I enjoyed it really much but to much stress to make it run properly. maybe i get the TM warthog. I really like to know what mad catz support sais to this. last time they send mey answer via google translator :)

Another issue with the X-55 Hey guys, sorry for interrupting your discussion but i didn't want to open a new thread for this mainly because this is in my opinion the more appropriate thread. I would be really thankfull if somebudy could listen just for a moment: I got the X-55 almost 3 weeks ago. It worked fine after connecting it via USB hub with externl power supply. Since one week the throttle is doing crazy thins and dont recognize inputs correctly. I made a short video showing what i mean. the point is that we all cant create an own session. joining on other servers isnt a problem, but we want to play somehting for ourselves somtimes. ok i will try this to and let you know if it has worked or not.

i tried it now with someone having a static ip and we all have the same problem. server is up, but we cant find it in the server list ( even if we wait up to 15 mins after 100 times of refreshing and searching ) and we also can't connect via ip

i think not, every time my router restarts i get a new i if its what you mean. I tried the same but now my buddy tried to host a server but he got the same problemes. maybe the new 1.2.14 causes problems? cause since that version i got random kicks from server. i can play for maybe an hour and then i got kicked. strange thing...

Quick overview: My friends and me wanted to play together on a private server. For some reason it didnt work so i searched the internet what could be the problem and now im here because nothing has changed. I did: -opened DCS multiplayer -host server -changed the name so its easier to find -selected "public server" -selected a passwort -selected a multiplayer misison -start server. Server seemed to run, i could play but nobody was able to connect. So i checked a few more things. -port 10308 is open, TCP and UDP -windows firewall is opened for port 10308, TCP and UDP -we all had the same DCS version 1.2.14 Server wasnt in the server list and further not accessable through direct connecting ( i gave them right ip with right port and right passwort) I gone trough so many tutorials i dont know what to do. Maybe someone can tell me what i have done wrong. Would be happy for an answer. Greetings

Ok guys thank you very very much for so many responses, DCS community still best community :) i tried now all of your suggestions, installing everything new, checked all twice and it seems something has worked ^^. I dont really know what has made the difference but I think it works properly now. Maybe i have done something somewhere that messed all up, but anyway, know its working. ( Im pretty sure that it wasnt TS because i have done that already years ago with an other joystick that has caused problems, also the setting with only Keybard & mouse input but thank you anyway) Thank you for your time and help :) Greetings UPDATE: It was my USB Port :/ I have measured it now. The port my stick is plugged into somhow doesn't deliver enough amp. I repositioned my cables and plugged the stick into an other port. now its working. Anyway, thank you for helping even if i could have figured it out by myself

Thanks for the fast response :) Im using the Saitek X-55 ( i know about the problmes some people have, but mine works great also the connection between stick, spring and bottom plate doesnt make problems, still testing ). I checked the bindigs in the software, but all looks fine. PAC-1 is binded with "P" in the software and PAC-2 with the Spacebar. I dont have any Problems with this config until i use any other type of weapon. All works great than switching to MAV for example and voila there you go. Concerning the controlabillity: After this sh** happens i have to press the PAC-1 button for every little "burst" and thats impossible. I know, hard to understand, I'll try to make a video showing what im mean.

Hy there, i have a problem with the A-10C. I bought a new HOTAS and after i tested it, I've noticed, that evey time I use a Weapon (MAVs, Bombs, even TGP, etc.) my gun turns into 10rnd burst mode. Except the fact that it sounds terrible ( 10rnd, 10rnd, 10rnd and so on) I can't stay on target anymore. I played the training mission again and searched the manual but i cant find any hint whats going on there. Maybe i messed something up with the profile, but i cant figure out what I've done wrong. Can anyone help me or have an idea where to find the solution? Greetings Hoping for the best :/
