Okay that's cool. I might still use Steam to pursache the modules (no credit card required) but transfer to the standalone to use the open beta without activation issues and my "stable" game being overwritten by the beta.

A question, if I want to make the transfer to standalone from steam, can I just use the keys from the modules I bought on Steam and use them like that in module manager or doesn't that work?

That's the issue... Most servers are almost fighter-only. I'd really like to try the 104th server as it seems like a good opportunity but it's out of region of me and I can't join it due to high ping. Now the servers I can play in, are usually 10+ F15's versus 10+ SU-27's, even though there are very good air to ground and transport tasks in that server. I'm getting real bored of this, my Mi-8 is nothing but a flying dart board :( I feel like I wasted my money on this thing.

Everytime I take off in a multiplayer server, I can fly for like 30 seconds before it gets show down by F15's. It's no longer fun. Really, out of the like 30 flights I've made in the past few weeks only 2 or 3 times I reached destination without getting shot the hell down. Anybody got tips? I'm really getting pissed off with this thing as it seems useless like this

So many people who don't even know how the A-10's radio works. Why? They never need it. (Except for the people who realise this game has an ATC)

This is very common damage, everytime I take a hit I make sure my wingman checks my undercarriage as it is very usually damaged. If you land and expect your wheels to still be there, it's quite a brutal halt when they are in fact no longer there :p

Just a question that I am not sure about yet: Are there plans for a targeting pod and guided bombs for the F14?

In my Mi-8 I have lots of experiences, in being shot down by an F15 just before I reach my destination after flying for over a hour :cry:

I'll grab the Typhoon as soon as it gets released. I feel the same about the SU-27

This is what I was TRYING to hint to, that it's more realistic to fly higher, but apparently people don't like the idea of flying above the clouds. I'll guess I'll just keep the treetops trimmed.

I've only ever survived one mid air collision in my 27, I don't even know what I hit, it went so damn quick. The A-10 still blows up on me quite often. Maybe it doesn't like me, I don't know [emoji14] Hahaha, I have some pretty bad memories about the helicopter part. For the 21, I fully understand and support that, as the jet is very limited. I'm doing all of that, except for escorting B-17's. Why the hell would an SU-27 escort B-17's :P Why so? I'm sorry, never flew the F15. I'd love to hear some explaination :)

You know how boring it is to chase down F15's that are affraid to fly any higher than 50 feet above ground level?:noexpression: It's getting a bit boring now. When I climb up to 30k feet and beyond it's almost impossible to get a lock, and in order to get a nice fight I need to join the lawn mowing superclan because I can't obtain a lock from all the way up there. Your F15/SU-27/SU-33/Mig-29 won't fall apart when you fly any higher than 10000 feet, the aircraft is even designed to do so!:smilewink: The average A-10 flies higher! Now come on, I want to fight at some altitude. Constantly mowing over the mountains just because no F15 dares to fly higher is boring. Just do it, don't let your dreams be dreams :thumbup:

True. Even just the RWR from the SU-27/25T would be wonderful, I find them to be very very useful. A better radar with more rangish missiles would be nice, but it's not required. I would however, like to see my RWR replaced with a newer one :)

The GROM is horribly inaccurate sometimes. How good does the R3R work?

But.. In real life, can the mig be started without usage of ground power?
