Is there any way I can revert to hotfix 2 when using steam? The game is absolutely unplayable for me now. It is lagging and stuttering constantly, freezing all the time and even very simple actions like sending a chat message wreaks havoc on the game.

For me VRAM rockets up to the full 2GB even while sitting idle on the taxiway in my own empty private server, but core MHz stays very low, often just hanging at 150/300MHz. This has only started happening after hotfix 3. Before hotfix 3 my GPU was properly used and DCS would use around 1.5/1.8gb on multiplayer servers with around 10 people. I kinda have my own theory: I have not adjusted my graphics settings, but I did notice that the ground textures are in way higher resolution right now. Maybe this induced lag? The thing that I can say is that my VRAM usage had definitely increased a lot, and often rockets up to the full 2gb, even when just sitting in the parking area on my own empty private server. Just hitting shift + tab to open the chat window already causes massive stutter.... What is this? Hotfix 2: performance great! 40/60fps Hotfix 3: stuttering and lagging non stop, 60fps feels like 5fps Oh, and for some reason just trying to join an aircraft in multiplayer, it takes 5 minutes to go from the "fly" button to the cockpit. No seriously, any idea how annoying this is? Flying mach 2 at 15k altitude, accidentally push the stick forward a little bit, pilot blacks out and keeps forcing the stick forward... after the plane was going 90 degrees vertical down the G forces went to 0 and my pilot woke up again... the only issue was the my jet was at 2km at that moment so I couldn't recover. The aircraft was trimmed for level flight, the pilot should have let the stick go and the aircraft would recover to level flight...

I don't know if anybody knows, but both missiles can lock on after launch, so I use this too my advantage in a head-on fight I override the launch when locked with radar, fire the missile as accurately as possible, and lots of times it manages to obtain lock halfway and destroy the enemies' jet. They can't just let out a key missile of the jet. It's like releasing the F22 without an AIM-120 and releasing the F14 without the Phoenix. I kinda expect a newer jet to be more technologically advanced. My jet is newer, so I will use the capabilities of it and don't want you be limited because of balance reasons. It's a simulator not some random fighter jet game.

You know what... When the Typhoon gets released, it should come with the AIM-132 ASRAAM I wonder how they will model this thing in DCS, in real life it should have really really good countermeasure resistance and be almost impossible to decoy. The second thing I'm interested in is how many servers are gonna ban it because it is too powerful....
