Has anyone managed to take off by putting the tail up ? I never seem to control it once the tailwheel lifts off the ground and end up crashing.

My technique ( X 52 and recently added Track ir ) is full throttle, keep it straight with small pedal inputs, and push the stick forward at around 100 km/h. Then slight pull until it leaves the ground

Yeah concerning the restarts, they are every two hours, like 3pm, 5pm etc.... GMT+1 ( Paris ). The helos are far away from the fixed wing spawn airfields, but you can usually get there pretty easy. There are two carrier groups ( one up north in the bay of Novorossiysk, the other between Sochi and Gudauta ). Hope to see you there :)

Are you sure you are doing it correctly ? IIRC, the procedure is to flip the switch above the extinguisher switch ( the one you activate on startup ) , cut then slam the throttle forward, and then, if you still have enough airspeed ( a shallow dive will do ), press the engine start button, and pray it starts again.

Is the X-55 worth it ? I'm on a modded X-52 right now, and I've seen two camps on the Rhino, either it's amazing, or it's amazingly shit
