We keep heading that way and we'll end up with an one aircraft contest. Aside from Direct Control, the Flanker's FM is years ahead of the Mirage. Moreover, the Su-27 was also flying in TG2 and could not stop the Eagle from dominating the competition. We're set now for a good tourney!

Welcome Tello! No cheating will be possible since every pilot must submit own in game track if requested by an admin and the result of the match can be overruled if any issues, so the integrity check will be us admins :-D Regarding flight models, the vast majority of those who signed up chose either su-27 or F-15, only 6 chose M2000 and nobody picked an SFM aircraft. A decision on whether to keep the Mirage or not will be taken today.

Thanks for the feedback guys (Ive never flown the 2000C), I will check with the TAW admins if possible to remove the 2000C and other SFM aircraft and keep only the PFM-based modules (Su-27+F-15).

Its difficult to come up with exact times now since we have not closed the sign up yet but as a general rule, event will kick off around 1700z for everyone then it will keep going for those who keep winning with the final around 21:30/2200z...of course you can leave as soon as you lost your match. Thanks to everyone who enlisted so far and since not everyone who signed up.is reporting here, I'd like to post a quick heads up for everyone to see: In the 1v1 we have received 31 registrations so far out of 32 available (yes it's filling up very quickly). In the 2v2 we have had 9 teams so far out of 16 available so also filling up fast... For those who are still thinking about registering hurry up and dont miss the party, it is going to be a great gathering of virtual pilots on Teamspeak, we are going to have a lounge channel where folks can hang out and have a chat together when not flying their match. This is an excellent opportunity to make new friends learn useful tips about BFM in particular or DCS in general. Do not get discouraged by the number of slots already taken in the 1v1. We will do our best to accommodate you ( we could extend the brackets a bit and allow 40ish players if necessary) but it's better to sign up today and not wait til D-day to turn up as a reserve as the only way for you to grab a seat by then is to replace someone who has not turned up for his match plus wait for your turn (first come first served). Live data export is disabled on purpose so that it can not be used to enhance SA in unfair ways. Scoring wise we will proceed as usual gentlemen, for those discrepancies please post on SA forum and I will follow up with you. You can use the Claiming and reporting section for anything like : - Claiming kills that are not seen in Tacview like maneuver kills or shared kills - Clarifying who's who especially for those who appear under false names on Tacview ( if you feel you've been affected please enable data export in Tacview then run your own track from the event then submit the generated Tacview on the section above - you will appear as 'player' then) S!

Awesome gents, thank to all who registered and showed up, thanks to the 104th and especially IronMike for a great work at managing the server so that the event runs smoothly. I was able to tell through the comms how intense the battle was from start til the very end with a lot of teamwork shown by both teams. Glad you guys enjoyed flying in RF5! I will have to go through the logs to be able to determine which team won; I will do so after Tacview gets published. S!

The post merge rule does not stand in 2v2. Regarding invitees, we I'll try to invite a few pilots who have proven themselves through past competitions as BFM experts. We hope this will make the competition even more exciting and also offer the participants the chance to go against some of the best BFM pilots in the history of DCS. This will be an invitation to honor their past achievements but won't guarantee they will actually participate as many of them have retired. Highest ranked pilots will be aggressors and the rest will be on the Challenger side so we wont know until D-day.

Tiger, did you take a screenshot of your Eagle after that crash landing? I know you purged the 10mn penalty before respawning but I need to see how your F-15 looked like after that crash landing (if you busted the gears only or was there more damage taken) Please post your screenshot or video of your landing on SA forum and well take it from there. Solid flying Rage! Its too bad that you could not fly in the finals, you had good momentum! Future-wise, we will not bury JW, we are thinking of ways to limit the rate of absenteeism. Unlike 24/7 servers where you can turn up and jump off at your leisure, JW relies on people who signed up to actually show up to keep the teams balanced and the seeding meaningful. Still, we had no less than 80 pilots flying in this so there is only one word I can think of: success! Red Flag 5 is coming up then we will have Top Gun 3 from our friends at TAW!
