Audio. ATC is in russian even if I'm in an f16 at nellis. I don't kknow how to fix this.

Flying the F15C; F16; P51D - All of my planes are now in Russian Language. A. I went into Options Menu - ensured everything in the planes were set to ENG. B. I checked the Config. Folder: "Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Config\lang.cfg" It indicates "ENG" What else can be wrong? please help !!!

Found it. couldn't at first. Game play was in the main menu - I tried while in the plane.

I just learned how to create the banner used here. I don't understand why there is spacing below it. - can anyone help me with removing the empty space below the banner?

the DCS crew helped me out - thank guys, good job. If anyone was having the same problem: 1. go to AUDIO, confirm "main audio out" and "headphones" are correctly selected. I had two options with SteelSeries Arctis Pro: GAME setting and CHAT Setting. I had previously been set to DEFAULT which was not working any longer. I moved it to CHAT, still not working. When I moved it to GAME it worked. Lesson - if you are more of a USER than techie (hand raised here) then don't despair, the guys at DCS will help - so reach out if you cannot resolve it yourself.

2ND question. Can Helios be used with other sims over and above DCS? p3d, fs2020

I lost my sound through my Steelseries ArctisPro headset. I can play the sound through my regular speakers and montior speakers but not through the headset

I just updated today 10/10/20 - lost sound through my headphones but plays on my speakers??

It's there even with the engine off. I load into the field and it's the first thing i hear.

Getting the popping sound - sounds like engine backfire. Only get it in normandy map. will delete my lua and see if that's same work around. not using voice attack either.

P-51 Normandy Map POPPING - BACKFIRE I continue to get a odd sound of popping or engine backfires when i load in "cold and dark" into the Normandy instant action map. This occurres while I'm sitting on the ramp with the cockpit open before start up. I don't seem to have it in any other place. :joystick:

fixed it by rebooting and plugging in the TWCS back in to cycle it -

What Program do you use to edit the LUA files?

downloaded the new patch. Went into the P51 and found that my throttle was not moving the in-cockpit throttle. I entered the control setup and went back through all my controls getting them set up. the throttle worked but the in cockpit throttle didnt move when I moved the TWCS throttle. So, went back in and cleared the Axis Throttle field and re-entered the TWCS again. RESULT: throttle not working at all. Checked the F-16 AND SPITFIRE - working properly. any suggestions? should i delete the P-51 and reinstall it?

Thanks - the throttle seems to be working in all planes except the P51?? :(:(

REPORTING A BUG - P-51D t.16000/TWS: throttle not slaving to TWS throttle. First it did, then I notice the in-cockpit throttle didn't move when I moved the TWS throttle. I went back into controls and "cleared" the selection, then re-selected the TWS throttle (in axis commands). not the throttle doesnt operate at all.

I'm using the TM t.16000 HOTAS. I have the hat switch set to manipulate the A/C's trim (elevator/rudder). In the P-51D: One click moves the Trim too much for elevator and rudder. Cannot get the plan to trim out to level flight using the HAT-SWITCH - works fine in P3D IS THERE ANY WAY TO REDUCE THESE A BIT? :pilotfly::pilotfly:

I'm using a thrustmaster t.1600. I have the hat switch set to trim the pitch and yaw. 1 click either way on the hat switch totally over corrects the trim. A2A's trim seems to work fabulously in P3D - we need some better trim response in DCS. :pilotfly:
