  1. ... enjoying Vaicom, the regular updates and posts in this thread.. all good stuff.. the last update provided even more exciting new features including the ability to have some sounds coming through the headset and others via speakers etc... this may seem a dumb question - I must be either missing something or over-thinking things but what is the idea behind this feature? when I'm wearing headphones I can't hear any external sounds - that's kind of why I'm using them :) someone put me straight please!
  2. ... how much improvement have you noticed? My reason for asking is that I am in the same boat I have 16GB Cosair Vengeance DDR4 and I am thinking about going to 32GB as a short-term measure as I may upgrade the whole system some time next year My current spec is below - primary use DCS in single player i7-5820K 3.30Ghz | Asus X99-S | Sapphire R290X | R7 240 | 16GB DDR4 PC4 2800MHz | Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD (OS) | Samsung 840 EVO 500GB SSD (DCS) | Noctua NH-D14 2011 Cooler | OCZ ZT 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular PSU | NZXT Phantom Enthusiast Full Tower Case | 3 x IIyama Prolite E2473HDS 24" | 1 x Dell S2240T 21.5" Touch Screen | Windows 10 64-Bit | AMD Eyefinity 5760 x 1080 | TrackIR5 | TM Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind 1771 | Vaicom Pro + VA (Licensed) | Sennheiser Game Zero [Nov 2018]
  3. @Hollywood_315 Thank you for 2.5.9 "a man who knows no bounds".... :)
  4. @Frederf SOLVED: The problem arises with the Helios profile At startup, RSBN/PRMG channels appear in sync with the cockpit but when the channel number is changed using the knob in the Helios profile, the +1 discrepancy occurs. I have discovered that turning the knob in the Helios profile anti-clockwise so that it goes from 00 to 99 and then back to and beyond 00 fixes the issue - only need to do this once (at the start of the flight) everything is then properly in sync.
  5. .. just a quick question... is it possible to increase the volume for AOCS - can't hear what she says especially when chatter is also on
  6. @Hollywood_315 ... better and better (that should be your Motto) Many thanks for continuing to make a great product even better :)
  7. Yes, beat me to it - I should have mentioned this... glad you're up and running now... it's a nice additional feature Also, for more about the 'Chatter' feature, take a look here: Forward to 1:23 / 15:14
  8. Forward to 2:31 / 17:22
  9. @Hollywood_315 Thanks, once again, for another great update... I have a custom profile containing cockpit controls and would like to implement the new 'Daisy Chain' facility but when I open the 'Include Profile Commands' panel in VA and click on the 'plus' icon, the drop-down list is empty/blue. Your advice please.... Solved! .
  10. @Hollywood_315 FYI... recently updated to... Windows 10 1803 (KB440976) DCS 2.5.4.26552 Vaicom Pro 2.5.8.2 VA 1.7.3 No issues to report - Seamless process with Pro Licence - 'Trouble-Free' and working perfect I like the improvements to Vaicom Pro Control Panel - looking even more professional now:) Thanks, for continuing to support this plugin - "an excellent product and a great enhancement to DCS"

  15. I had no idea I was being filmed when I landed those planes! :pilotfly: .... in my dreams Hey, GREAT video... loved watching those beautiful MIG's landing
  16. ... yeah... what it is... they are using budget tyres on these planes these days... actually I think some might even be remoulds! :smilewink: Jokin' mate.. You risk popping the tyres if you drop onto the runway too hard when landing and if your speed is too high prior to becoming airborne during take off
  17. Very nice ... a man after my own heart... thanks for sharing everything - great reference material for everyone
  18. @Frederf ... walks on water ... can do no wrong ... is my hero! :worthy:

  23. @Frederf OK, will follow your advice and let you know how I get on Thanks again
  24. @Frederf Very helpful - thanks - will investigate further Just checked - I'm on OB 24984 I was just about to try your suggestion (post #10) but before I do, I should mention the +1 issue applies to all four maps! Did you mean delete / repair R_NAV_data_Caucasus.lua or R_NAV_data.lua Update: I checked and can see R_NAV_data.lua and R_NAV_data-OLD.lua I tried deleting and repairing both of these .lua's but +1 issue is the same Will wait to hear if you meant the other .lua's .
  25. ...more time for flying!
