  1. one slot available before we close the door.
  2. I tried Mustang's textures yesterday and wow!! do they look good. I was completely stunned! However, one major drawback for me, I cant see any targets with them in the TGP. I so far have been used Bartheks outstanding GMT 6.5 and/or 7.0 and they look also great and at the same time give me better contrast in the TGP for finding targets. edit: A10-C TGP that is
  3. Our previous class of Trainees are about to graduate to MQT status. We will open our doors for 2 new Trainees for the 617th, which is our A10-C squadron. If flying the A-10C among a group of friends in a COOP based multiplayer environment with active squadrons of ATC/AWACS, JTACs, Mi-8 and Ka50s interests you, click on my banner and check us out. Requirements: you can be a complete beginner, but in the end, we want to teach you our procedures and tactics, not how to click the buttons in the correct order or how to start your jet or align your EGI. This you should practice offline. Once you are ready to get your bird into the air however, you are welcome to join us. We will first teach you communications with ATC, maneuvers and formations/transitions during Initial Qualification Training. Once completed, you will work on the weapons training until ready for MQT check out. This will then qualify you to fly combat missions with us up to large events with several squadrons. We have training Wednesdays at 1900z and advanced training (so our IPs can get a rest and hone their own skills) or Combat events on Sundays 1900z. The only thing we ask you is that during your training you should be able to log in about once every 2 weeks, is all we ask. That only ensures that Trainees dont block the slots for future trainees by sitting on the roster being inactive. After you are MQT there is no time commitment and you fly only when you have time. We all have family and jobs too, so RL is first we understand that as much as you do. If you want to hear more about the 132nd, go check out our youtube channel
  4. thanks a ton for hte update DArt, we will test this extensively during our Wednesday's training.
  5. thanks !!!!!! That was the last thing stopping me from bringing my viggen out of the hangar, I just can't fly without the jetseat anymore ^^
  6. thats exactly my experience too. Ditched my SLI setup for a 1080 back then and never looked back
  7. very very nice!! Great job Gunterlund! Please keep us updated with your progress :)
  8. Would it be possible to get together and test this maybe you can help us because we could not find a way to hear the stream correctly as soon as someone else spoke on another radio. I would be available on the weekend maybe we can meet on TS and test for 5 min. Btw what Looney posted above is a known and reported bug in SRS.
  9. yeah. Before the jetseat, my eyes were glued to the speed gauge and the vertical velocity indicator when flying the Mi-8 especially as I died 100 times due to VRS when landing. With the jetseat, I dont even look at the gauges anymore. You simply feel the vibrations when she starts to get into vrs, simply correct with the controls, and Ive never had one since then :)
  10. Same here but iirc it worked by running the app as admin
  11. go get a rift. I could not go back to flying without it.. ever :P
  12. is this still going?
  13. @Asset, I am one of the Dambusters Instructor Pilots. We can take on a new Trainee, so please feel free to apply, Sir :)
  14. snapviews in fact do work with the Rift. I use one snapview to have a better look at the CDU, in case I need to go heads down and enter coordinates, but thats about it. I had snapviews set up for the radio panel and closer looks for the MDFs, but I never use them since you might as well lean forward a bit
  15. Huge update, thanks ED!!!
  16. Thanks for the Viggen Guide!!! :D
  17. Im always super excited when a new module comes out, I buy them all to support the devs. I just don't get the purpose of the trainer modules tbh. Im not saying they should not be developed, obviously there is a market for it or else they wouldn't make them, but I don't get what their role is really from a sim/gaming perspective :)
  18. I have the same, also, sometimes it turns into a circular yellow thingy like a cartoon-sun hehe
  19. have a look into the MOOSE framework. It contains a very user friendly scripting environment that, amongst countless other things, allows you to make F10 menus with multiple layers.
  20. thanks John for the great videos, I learn a lot from them (as I did when watching your videos about the Mi-8) !
  21. awesome!! you guys rock!!
  22. works perfectly thanks for fixing it!!!!
  23. Did that, also removed all mods. No joy, no matter what I select in the app, the kneeboard wont change size or position
  24. not using helios, Im testing on a 4k screen or oculus
