  1. hab das problem auch, unspielbar
  2. The MOOSE framework in its present state prior to the new branch already is heavily used in the 132nd training mission. Functions such as tankers restarting when they are out of fuel, smokey Sam missile scripts and dynamic re spawns and routings of units are some of the major functions we use. I am totally excited about the continued development of MOOSE and wish you all the best with the release! Good times ahead! :)
  3. could not agree more!
  4. known issue and has nothing to do with CTLD but rather how infantry AI is used. if you use the mission editor and let red and blue infantry run towards each other you will have the same problem.
  5. Euro Timezone. We have training on Wednesdays around 1900z and Combat/Advanced Training Sundays 1900z oh and IcarusGR, as I also said on the internal forums, very nice job Sir! :) o7
  6. I have always been a huge fan of Barthek's work, am looking forward to version 7 a lot!
  7. Hi, thanks I know. I of course disassemble the headphones from the rift when I use my gaming headset.
  8. Hi, I fly the A10-C in the rift and therefore also depend on voiceattack to help me with button presses, which works like a charm. I enjoy the sound of my gaming headset (KAVE XTD 5.1) way over the rift-audio so I would ideally like to put the headset over the rift. That works, but when I look over my right shoulder the tracking gets messed up easily, I think this is because the headset blocks one of the trackers on the rift? Without the headset it works nicely. So I tried using the rift built-in audio and mic, however, voice attack now refuses to recognize most commands now when I use the rift-mic. I tried re-running the training for voice-recognition but I had to read most sentences multiple times for the software to even pick them up. Even afterwards, Voice Attack would not accept most commands.. (Im not a native speaker, but still, with the KAVE XTD mic it works nicely) What is your experience? Do you really need to re-train the voice engine to a new mic? Once you've done that, will it now 'forget' the training you had for the old mic? Does the mic in the rift work well with voice attack? (for me it didnt, but maybe I need to train it more? ) I consider simply getting a non-headset mic and put this between my 2D screen and my keyboard and only switch audio output(KAVE XTD for 2D, Rift audio for well..the rift.). Any recommendation on a GOOD desktop microphone that works well with speech recognition?
  9. ahaha well said! +1
  10. the way I understand it is you designate the target and slave so you get a CCRP release cue, in order to get the bomb somewhat close to the actual target. The bomb itself will then track the laser spot, independent of your aircraft
  11. ohne Oculus have ich 60 fps in Nellis, mit Oculus nicht über 16 fps. Ich würde mit dem Update warten falls Ihr VR fliegt ;)
  12. also, you have to know that the free planes that come with DCS world are not study level and (again, others might disagree with me) only a small fraction of the fun. Main difference, the cockpit is not clickable. In contrast, all the 'payware' modules are extremely high detail and, which is for me the best thing, you can use the mouse to operate all the switches. I started learning the A10C module, its probably one of the most complex aircraft, but there is excellent documentation and I find clicking switches with the mouse 100x more intuitive than remembering a key combination for engine start.. Can highly recommend it really (funny side note, I bought my joystick pedals etc all for Elite Dangerous, because Ive been playing this a kid and was excited when it came out. Few weeks later I got so bored with the game, yet annoyed because I bought all this expensive flightsim gear that I had no use for anymore. Then I saw a youtube video of DCS A10.. and I was hooked. Never looked back!)
  13. welcome to DCS World. Its a steep learning curve for sure. Others might disagree with me, but learning a new aircraft, at least a complex one like the A10C is quite the challenge. As a fellow rift user, I am happy that I know where the switches are and what they do, without having to rely on the labeling, which is in VR hard to read (also with pixel density 2.0). I therefore recommend to learn in 2D, and then switch to 3D, thats at least how I did it. Once in the rift, you absolutely have to use many bindings to your HOTAS (you can also make usre of modifier switches, so you can double bind buttons) and since you play Elite Dangerous, you probably have voice attack, which is immensely useful for flying in VR It would be helpful if you indicated which airframe you are currently trying to learn so people could recommend good tutorials for you. Enjoy the learning, thats a good part of the fun actually. I preferred learning the A10 via youtube videos (there are tons of them), rather than in game tutorials
  14. Looking forward to it a lot! :)
  15. its amazing, even more so in the Rift. you will not regret it.
  16. You were correct in the past. However with recent drivers and updates, Win 10 runs like a charm on a MBP. Its super silent now (compared to before when the fans were always running at high speeed). In fact, I have mac OS not even installed on my work-MBP anymore, only win 10 I run it with zero issues and have DCS installed, but only for testing and mission planning. A real PC is required to effectively run the game, unless you want to run with really minimal settings.
  17. If the exports changed then would it maybe have been a good idea to include that in the release notes, so people who rely on 3rd party radio addons would know they can't apply the update? That would have been very helpful
  18. wonderful and I just issued a NOTAM for our entire wing to apply the 4 gig update in time for an event on Sunday. great job no UniverseRadio gg
  19. just open a CMD window in bin, and run: dcs_updater update worked perfectly for me
  20. nvm
  21. strange, I dont have that issue at all? Can you try disabling the fullscreen option?
  22. Dear Chromium, with the new 1.5.5. stable release, just FYI, I just found that when I have the weather mod enabled via JSGME, I cant host a server. As soon as I click on 'start server' the screen goes black. Music is still playing, but only way to exit is via ctrl alt del. If I disable the weather mod, it works just fine. easy workaround for now seems to be to enable your mod, set the weather, then disable the mod and host the mission.
