  1. I also tried to bypass the kneeboard builder app to modify the size by manually editing the ViewportHandling.lua file. local kneeY local kneeX should define the size of the kneeboard, yes? No matter what Im putting in there, the size of the kneeboard won't be affected in either 2D or VR.
  2. It used to work flawlessly for me, but now I also seem to have the problem that my keyboard size and position won't be saved. Any suggestions?
  3. thanks for the videos!! will watch when I get off work :)
  4. VR rendering?! oh please tell me thats true :)
  5. I know it sounds intimidating at first, but believe me, its worth it! Setting up CTLD is super simple in the end and it works 100%. We in the 132nd use it all the time and could not even imagine DCS without it. Give it a try, you won't regret it. super easy setup to just get simple troop transport working: step 1: download ctld step 2: set a trigger in your mission time more 1 do scriptfile MIST (to be found in the CTLD download) set another trigger in the mission editor time more 2 do scriptfile CTLD (also to be found in the CTLD download) step 3: create a zone in your mission and name it pickzone1 in this area, you will be able to pick up troops! step 4: name your helicopter helicargo1 (need to set the unit name, not the group name) thats it, now you should have CTLD options available with the F10 menu. You can fly to your pickzone, land, pick up troops. Fly somewhere else, land and let them disembark. do NOT use DCS built-in embarking disembarking options, use CTLD via F10 radio menu. I typed this in haste and from memory I hope its accurate, the exact procedure should be very well detailed in the CTLD download. You can modify all options to your hearts content in the CTLD lua directly but this should get you started. EDIT and CTLD is not just a work around its far more powerful than DCS's built-in options. You can use it to deploy smoke also with non-JTAC units, deploy radio beacons on the fly and much more EDIT and I am not the creator of CTLD, just a super happy user thanks Ciribob!
  6. Gutes Neues, an Alle!
  7. is this still broken? I am trying to get those triggers to work but they wont fire. I dont have a problem when stuff is broken and Im happy to wait for a fix but not know what is broken and what not feels like a waste of time using the ME
  8. If you wanna hop on our TS and test Im on
  9. Confirm you installed both TS and UR as admin (not 100% sure that's neeeded but can't harm) In UR Control Panel you bound both radio selector and PTT to the same button? O
  10. Its not that CTLD is bugged, the triggers are. ED are aware of it and working on a fix so stay tuned. In the meantime, do what most of us who need functional missions did and roll back from the latest update or wait for ED to come out with a fix :)
  11. that is great to hear!! Thanks so much good sir for keeping us updated!
  12. Worth it? Hell yes! I can't go back to flying in 2D ever again
  13. read up a few posts, latest patch broke CTLD and other scripts.. roll back to one DCS version prior to latest, and it will work
  14. rolled back to DCS 1.5.5.59744 and the issue is gone. We can't run our missions without those scripts
  15. edit sry didnt read properly, was trying to help
  16. Oddly enough, it seems to work for non client units such as vehicles. If you name a truck helicargo1 for example and control it directly as ground force commander you get the CTLD functions
  17. just tried, the update 3 hotfix that came out later today also does not fix the problem. damn
  18. uhm, oh no. I think that today's DCS update (DCS 1.5.5.60314 Update 3) somehow prevents CTLD from showing up in the F10 radio list. In a clean test mission, I have a Mi-8 named helicargo1 and an ground unit named helicargo2. For the ground unit, I get the CTLD option, for the helo I dont. Can anyone else confirm this? :(
  19. Oh how cool would that be!
  20. Well I cant help but think ED by now should have noticed this bug themselves..If not before the update, maybe by now.. Anyway, in case you dont want to roll back, a workaround seems to be to simply have the radio menu open, then the mouse works.
  21. It's bugged with the latest update of D.C.'s 1.5.5 roll back to the version prior to last Friday's update
  22. versuchs mal dann siehste schon was das problem ist
  23. Same here, totally unplayable. It has nothing to do with clicking the radio menu I get it immediately after mission start. Deleted my Saved Games DCS folder and disabled all mods still no joy.
