  1. LOW PRF should be used when a target is cold in M2kC and F-15. This is my experience anyway. I believe in mirage that is indicated as BVR in top right corner of radar screen when you are in low prf mode
  2. I'm glad we got this figured out together =D :pilotfly:
  3. And the value behind your post is yet to show itself
  4. +1 OP: what frequencies are you needing to achieve to contact carriers? Any way you can set up the preset frequencies in Mission Editor?
  5. This will be sweet! APKWS II would be awesome if RAZBAM is able to code it. Then that means they can probably be slapped on to the A-10C as well. I feel like a little kid at the moment. PS Say hello to Dylan for me 59th :pilotfly:
  6. Youtube embedding in BBC code is broken at the moment. I "quoted" the previous post but made the youtube link available
  7. From your post I am assuming that you do not change the power setting on the throttle and are only flying off of collective and pitch with engines at max RPM. Maybe try flying with different variations of power setting to help manage speed.
  8. can we close this thread or merge it with the thread regarding this same issue that is in the "Problems and Bugs" sub thread? Why do people not post in the correct thread? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=206985
  9. Hey brotha, please check the "problems and bugs" sub forum under the AV8B main forum to avoid posting multiple threads regarding the same issue. Its been acknowledged and a fix has been submitted to ED for whenever they release next patch. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=206985
  10. how about TTI? A-10C has Time To Impact after weapons release. Will we get the same since it is in essence the same TPOD as A-10C
  11. Here is one of my videos where you can see me activating the "FlIR" switch infront of the joystick (NOTE*: you also need to have DMT switch which is also in front of Joystick activated). Then you can see me hit the HUD switch under the scratch pad to "NIGHT" operation and then rotate the Dials for Brightness and Contrast to the right of the DAY/AUTO/NIGHT operation switch for the HUD. Once you have followed all of those steps all you need to do to replicate FLIR on your HUD is hit the Sensor "DOWN/ACTION" BUTTON" AKA same button used to lock onto a target using TPOD or DMS or MAVERICKS Start viewing video at 51:20 I tried making it playable on thread, but having issues with the coding it out.
  12. As Azrayen mentioned, the way INS in the M2kC works the waypoints are sequential. For, example, sometimes in some multiplayer servers sometimes the mission editors only set a bullseye waytpoint (we'll call this waypoint 01). In order to create a new waypoint the next waypoint you have to create is waypoint 02. You cannot create waypoint 03 without having 02 and the same goes if you are trying to create 04 but do not have 03 yet. Also, the INS is still buggy sometimes when it comes to the characters displayed on the digital read out screen when using PREP and a waypoint. Just remember the process of PREP (WAYPOINT NUMBER), "+" for left side or right side parameters, input lat/long in decimal seconds and hit the INS button on bottom right of INS scratch/number pad. One last thing that comes to mind...was your INS fully aligned?
  13. Hell yes, once we can create waypoints it'll be awesome for loft bombing
  14. Did you try to swith to BVR mode? I've done that before, put the radar in bvr and then swith it to stand by and the "arret radar" goes away. I think it happens because the radar computer gets stuck in A2G ranging mode for CCIP. So throwing it to bvr returns the radar to normal operation mode.
  15. Yea I agree with SHADOW on all accounts here. In MP no one likes the fact that Su-27 and F-15 take 20 seconds to start up while full fledged modules have AFAIK proper start up procedures. I believe we need to turn away from FC3 style modules all together. Because the damn I just got shot down and I'm going back up in ~1min is BS all together. It makes for more immersion to be more careful of your "life" and aircraft when you have to sit there for ~10mins to do start up and alignment before going and shooting digital missiles at another aircraft. I GIVE FC3 STYLE AND PLEA 4 THUMBS DOWN LIKE RICK JAMES DID TO THAT ONE GIRL'S BOSOM
  16. Part 10 of Chuck's Mirage Guide. I understand it says "the PCM mode is currently not implemented", but I believe it has been implemented since the writing of that guide. Because I've selected that mode before, and I couldn't get solid STT track and launch on bogey when in that mode. In fact it flooded my HDD with jamming signals I couldn't even get STT lock. Hope this helps.
  17. In what model of the gazelle? I've been having issues getting the mistral to launch missiles even after confirmed lock on tones and rear aspect. I press the missile launch button from pilot seat and it doesn't work. Yes the missile launch button cover is in the "up" position Yes the master arm is on Yes the pylon switches are in the "on" position Yes the missile control box is in the "on" position marking 2 missiles on left pylon and 2 missiles on right pylon. Yes my pilot HUD is in the down position with reticle activated Yes the lock tones are going off Yes I am pressing the launch button like a freaking mad man NO I AM NOT GETTING THE MISSILES OF THE RAIL
  18. I kind of beg to differ on the "snapshots" comment you made. It's all about practice and timing. Fast forward to 31minutes 35 seconds rjusRHA6Ut8?t=31m35s
  19. given the topic from OP is in regards to m2kC ECM implementation, I am curious as to why no one brought up the fact that m2kC has two different jamming modes. Has anyone tested if there is a difference between these two modes of operation in the m2kC ECM?
  20. not sure what you're trying to prove with this post, but if you didn't read the OP's question the IRL picture was to help give him an answer. You must be bored. Grab your :joystick: and play some DCS buddy
  21. anyone figure out how to get the mavs to work on A2A targets in the AV8B yet? I can do it in A-10C but AV8B doesn't seem to want to maintain lock and track of A2A targets. In A-10C I the mav screen will lock, maintain lock of moving target whether A2G or A2A and maintain a track on screen until firing off weapon. Anyone else experience this?
  22. Not sure if this helps answer the question but here you go. ILR picture
  23. I bought it and my :joystick: was extended by nearly 3inches (that's 7.62cm for you metric fellas). My wife and I both DO NOT regret my purchase of this module!
  24. You know....Caucasus map is all rendered over a layer of water texture. I don't think that Nevada and Normandy are the same. Caucasus being an old school type of map development where the water layer was the bottom most and first layer in the texture mapping. So this might hint to part of the issue...not sure, I am not an expert, just throwing some thoughts out.
  25. If you'd like help let me know. Fluent in both spanish and english:book:
