  1. Little Bump :music_whistling: New Video AdAMod v2 : Mirage2000 B - Alpha Presentation It's Christmas :) MajorBug just finished this new video based on my solodisplay for VFAT2008. I would like to thank all dev team's work (especially Barbsman) on this wonderfull 3D model (Airone is one the creator of this 3D model, but he had been forget in the credits of this video, thanks to you "Maître 1 1" :D) Audio Mix (used during VFAT) is from kerdougan (PSV pilot), thanks ;) :pilotfly:ADAMod v2 : Mirage2000 B - Alpha Presentation:pilotfly: Author : MajorBug Weight : 185Mo Size : 1280*720 Duration : 11'12" Enjoy :D PS : VFAT logo does not appears in this video. Cause technical reasons, used tracks were made 1 week after VFAT. But this is the same program and "same" difficulties (server parameters, full track, but not in live :D)
  2. Y don't think that Canards will be a problem with the Mig29 FM ;) but for the Su33 FM, you will lose the A2G capability with TV :( So, I think that Mig29 FM is a good choice. have fun and merry chrismas ;)
  3. yes it's possible simply cause AdA Mod use Mig29 Filght Model (and cockpit) for the Mirage. it will work "correctly" only with the russian guided weapons. it "only" need to play a little with the MEinit file and make tests ;) have fun
  4. and the MEinit :music_whistling: it need to understand how MEinit and .skin file works together for the skins (CLISD, IDs etc etc) and you can do "what you want" ;)
  5. it just need to do the "new" planes in 3Dsmax :music_whistling: for your exemple, you should need to have both F117 and F15 in same .lom file and don't forget it will be only a "visual modification" your F117 will not be stealth and wil not be Air-to-Ground available ^^ you will have the F15 flight model ;)
  6. to avoid any future remarks : We (AdA Mod Dev Team) give autorisation to Rick (Insky group) to use files (or part of files) from AdA Mod v1 cockpits. have a nice day :)
  7. hum, seems to use some parts from AdA Mod cockpits and "F14D beta cockpit" (from Rattler) but i am not sure .... not yet

  10. there's no problem :) I will be happy to test and fly the F14 and F18 (even if i prefer the single seat ^^) when it will be released :) but it's true that some news are appreciated sometimes ^^ and for your screen ratio, you have 2 solution : edit manually your graphic.cfg file. or use LoCFG (or modman, but i'm not sure for modman). LoCFG permits you to set all your graphic settings without launching LO ;) But you have to know that when your ratio is set for a 16/9 or 16/10 widescreen, you " can't " return in the LO options. if you go in LO options, ratio will be automatically set to 4/3. So, you will need to close LO, re-set your 16/9 or 16/10 ratio, and launch LO again ;) have fun ^^

I agree And there is a third solution ^^ -> Replace "humancockpit=yes" by "humancockpit=Mig29S" (for exemple, or A10, F15, Su27 etc etc), with real model weight and FM (for rocket style) it will able modders to select the "best" FM for a new Aircraft ^^ (for exemple, a F14D with a Su33 FM and cockpit without replacing the Su33, or a F117 with a A10 FM ^^) and ServerSide MEinit humancockpit attribute "replace" the ClientSide MEinit (If client MEinit set F14D with Su27 FM and Server with Su33 ... the client will fly the F14D with Su33 FM ... all time he will be connected on the server) it would be "prefect" for modders :D have a nice day :)

Hello RICK great model but there is something I "hate" (not really hate .. but i don't like it :D) the mapping. your model use a 2048² file for detailled parts (cockpit, landing gear etc) ok, it's pretty nice with this file ... but a little bit big. And, the whole mapping for wings, fuselage, fin etc, use only one 204² skin file .... so you have a very nice cockpit (for external view) but a poor skin without great detailled for screw and lines .... why not use 2 2048² file for the aircraft, and maybee a 1024² file for detailled part ? (if a specific file was needed for details because not enought space for details in two 2048² files with the rest of the skin ?) so, ok, maybee the landing gear and cockpit are very nice. But, In my own opinion, I prefer have a better detailled "skin" than cockpit and landing gears have a nice day ;)

I think Lotham (and the "CinC" :D) don't speak about the door position ;) but the metalic parts front of the door is maybe too "big" because it "bites" on the taxiway take a look to the attach image it's the lotham's screen "modified" red line is the angle for metalical frame :) (sorry for my english ;))

  17. There is a thread (see page 2 :)) where i explain "quickly" how to do :) If you don't understand, send me a PM ;) The compass in the Su27/33 cockpit ? I don't remember exactly :( But i know that it's only remove the exterior of the compass not the "rotative" part :( Try to find files in the cockpits textures cdds files

OK I understand what happened :) In fact, with the CAW AdA ... you have a Mig29 cockpit instead of the standard Su27/33 cockpit But the air-to-air refueling is not possible with a Mig29, so you can't see a probe when you try to refuel If you want to fly the Su33 with the CAW AdA, you need to chose : - Cockpit style (AdA reskinned) :) - Air-to-Air refueling capability :) if you want the air-to-air capability, you will have the old Su27/33 cockpit :) (i will explain you how to do if you want :)) have a nice day :)

  20. If you're sure that the Su27 cockpit had not been modified by AdA Mod, so I can tell i'm sure that the Su33 cockpit had not been modified too :D both cockpits are in the same kabina.cmd file ;) we can't modify one without modify the other :doh:
  21. Still Work In progress Somes files are the same for Mig, Su27/33 and Su25 cockpits so if Ricardo release the Su27/33 cockpit, it will modifiy the other pits so he would like to finish all his work before make a public release ;)
  22. uh :huh: I have installed AdA Mod since it has been released (and tested beta version) I never have this problem ... AdA Mod did not change the Su27/33 cockpit It only reskinned the Mig29 cockpits ;) Could you re-try to refuel with a Su33 ? I will try it asap (after work if i have enought time) and tell you what happened :) have a nice day/night :D
  23. the problem for new cockpit from scratch is the HUD and the MFD ... they are hardcoded so "impossible" to do :) (impossible because no one found the solution :cry:) for alphajet, it was not a problem .... there is no HUD or MFD in the french Alphajet :D
  24. AdA mod cockpits are just reskinned old cockpits ;) all TGA and BMP files had been modified and replaced bye :)
  25. I don't know if there is a limit I just know that Rafale 3D model is 4 LODs ;) but I think that 4 or 5 LODs should be good 25/30k poly for LOD0 15k for LOD1 10k for LOD2 5k for LOD3 2k for LOD4 for exemple ... some real 3D modeler should confirm :)
