It could be the better frame rate makes the difference. I have my controls set the same for both but still struggling to get into a smooth hover from take off and my landing is hit and miss in 2 alpha, in 1.5 lift to hover and hover to landing.

Seems so much more stable to fly in 1.5 beta. Has the update not hit 2 alpha yet?

Using the DK2, If you have an in game blackout and you press the escape key to exit you are still blacked out and can't exit to menu. Logs_openAlpha.zip

I'm probably going to hold out for the next generation and even then i'll only buy when it is readily available, I don't mind waiting weeks but not months. While the DK2 is working and supported in game i'm happy :)

Oculus 1.3 As a dk2 user I can honestly say this has made a huge difference. I mainly fly the huey and as well as performance improvements the cockpit also seems to be easier on the eye. Can't wait for nevada to get the upgrade and someway of getting kneeboards, radio menu, and missions easier to read. May even move from just enjoying the flying experience to doing some missions. If you haven't yet tried DCS in VR then you really are missing out. Of course just my opinion :)

Privacy screen Have you got a link? i'm using a techgear matte screen guard but sit get sde :(

I'm another DK2 user and I also can no longer sim without vr even with the bad resolution and sde. The immersion outweighs anything else. Hopefully with 1.3 readable fonts and kneebaords etc.. will be native. As yet i'm not convinced that an upgrade to cv1 is worth the cost so i'll hapily wait for the next generation.

Many thanks. Looking at the pcb it's on, it doesn't look like that will be an easy option. Is there anyway that the second 8 analog pins can be set to be used as digital?
