  1. I renamed both of my Bodnar 836x boards using his renaming utility. Not sure if you do the same with the your type of controller. Check his website under “downloads and utilities”.
  2. I’ll give the damper a test if you’d like, also.
  3. VKB sales will reply. Might take a day or three, but they’ve always gotten back to me. FWIW
  4. To clarify, I’ll common ground the switches and buttons. Analogs I generally have discrete grounds
  5. I daisy chain the grounds and use one common wire, generally. The added complexity of troubleshooting is outweighed by the benefits, In my opinion.
  6. Mine finally arrived yesterday! I've had a few hours usage out of them so far and they're working perfectly. The only issue so far is that they are quite a bit wider than the stock Crosswinds with width adapter plates. The were about 2 inches too wide to fit in my Obutto r3volution pit with the pedal tray at the highest mounting point. Dropping the tray down to the lowest points solved that. I've set them up in the most vertical position and the springs in the weakest setting.
  7. Also very interested. Send me a PM if you’d like me to test them.
  8. Glad you got it sorted, Neph.
  9. Thanx, Sokol! Will check it out.
  10. Damn, I’ve got one for a throttle handle mod. Wish I would’ve know about that center button behavior before I purchased it from Leo. I’ll have to figure out a work around. Caveat emptor, eh?
  11. Don, If DHL left you a notice of attempted delivery card, there should be a place on it to sign that authorizes them to deliver with no one home. At least that was the case a few years ago when I bought my Gunfighter. There may be a way to authorize it via the DHL website.
  12. Check out Leo’s website, I believe the info u need is on there.
  13. Cat, I believe I have an adapter lying around. Since I sold off my Hog, I have no use for it. I’ll have to check and see which rev it’s for. If you’d like it, pm me and we’ll talk.
  14. Outstanding work, Jorgen. As usual!
  15. Sokol to the rescue as usual!
  16. Z, I seem to recall reading on one of the forums about someone doing just that. Maybe simHQ? Not much help, I know.... Bohemond
  17. As usual, Jorgen, fantastic work! Wish I had the time to do more modding/fabrication. Not to mention the skill.
  18. The Obutto Warthog mounts come pre-drilled for the stick and then throttle. I’ve never used an extension on my ‘Hog stick before I switched to a Virpil T-50. As far as speaker layout, I only use headphones on my gaming rig. <s> bo
  19. Atelophobia, I have the r3volution and it is fantastic for flight sims and general computing. If u have a Warthog, I’d definitely recommend getting the Obutto Warthog accessories ( throttle and stick mounts). For the Crosswinds, they fit only if you add the width adjustment accessories from MFG. My r3volution is setup with a Virpil T-50 Mongoose stick on a Warthog stick mount, X-52 throttle, MFG Crosswinds with width adjustment plate, homemade button box, and a CH MFP. I also purchased the acrylic table accessories. Hope this helps, any other questions feel free to ask.
  20. Mine just was delivered today. As of last nite, that tracking number showed no results when entered. Funny, since I shot off an email last night to Cypher explaining the tracking issue. And... just got a reply from him which I haven't read since I'm typing this post.
  21. Ordered mine on 4/27, no tracking info yet. That said, I don't see what all the fuss is. We all knew we were ordering a new piece of hardware from a new boutique manufacturer. I assumed there would likely be some delays and the like. I'm just as anxious to receive it as you all are. Cypher has been very helpful answering all my questions directly and in a timely manner. I'm just happy there are new joystick manufacturers available. My Mongoose base will arrive soon enough. My .02 <S> Bo Also, I actually received my Mongoose stick a few days BEFORE the tracking info was emailed to me. FWIW
  22. Yup, was awfully worried I'd either break the 'Hog gimbal or the Mongoose by forcing it. I made sure I held the gimbal with pliers to isolate any torque. Hopefully, others see thread and it helps them when mounting the Mongoose. So far, well worth the price!
  23. Sorted. With quite a bit of force, I simply seated it and screwed down the locking collar. Viola, working in game controller settings. Although it didn't mount easily, I do like that it is plug-n-play. No messing with configuration software. Thanks a bunch for your help, mx! <s> bo
  24. The 5 pin plug from the Mongoose doesn't seat into the socket on the Warthog base. I can only get it in approximately half way, no more. I can't tell if maybe a pin is bent, or more likely, the outside shroud is too small in diameter.
  25. Yup, my connector is not hard mounted to the Mongose, there's about 3/4" of slack. I just can't get the damn thing to seat properly in the Warthog base.
