  1. I would like to use this for the f-5e-3 model but it is not an edm file. It is a lods file. Is there a workaround for this?

    External fuel tanks

I did some thorough digging and was able to find the textures for the two tanks. The are in the following zip: \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\World\textures\AeroWeapons.zip The edm files of the tanks in order to load them inside the model viewer are here: Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\World\Shapes Filenames are ptb-150.edm & ptb-275.EDM Now if only someone would answer the second part of my question, I would be a very happy lad!
  3. Exactly! And the official template is working better on the f-5e model. Here is my WIP texture loaded on both models. It seems as if someone "screwed" the f-5e3 nose for 1/4 to the right! How can we get this to the attention of the developers?
  4. Hello fellow skinners!!! :) I have a two part question on altering the textures of the external fuel tanks. The first part is where can I find the dds files of the external tanks as they do not appear to be inside the aircraft's texture rar and the Second part is what is the code I need to add in my description.lua so that I may load the diffuse and the specular dds files I will create. Come to think of it, I would appreciate the code to alter the parachute too but that is not as important as the external tanks. thank you very much for your help beforehand. :pilotfly:

  8. Well this thread was about A7 after the Mirage (2000)... so A7 after the Mirage (III) is a very convenient way to keep this thread alive... I just hope you don't have any other Mirages scheduled down the road... :music_whistling::smartass::)
  9. I had this issue for a long time. In my case the "mistake" was that I had two different playback devices plugged in the PC at the same time. a) My 2+1 speakers in the back panel of the tower and a Logitech headset via USB which I had selected as my default playback device. After a while as many mentioned before me, some of the sounds of the game stopped playing in my headset and (apparently) were playing through my speakers which at the time I had powered off and couldn't listen to. Everything was fine after I unplugged my speakers from the back panel of my tower and played only with my headset plugged. Hope this helps someone.
  10. The files have been updated and now should work as intended. Please re-download and overwrite over the previous version. Feel free to post a reply here if something is out of order. thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
  11. I just found out that BST has altered how liveries work once more and the bort numbers have re-appeared. I will try to fix the problem for my liveries and re-upload as soon as possible.
  12. 335 Sqn continuing the tradition... (Scroll down for the gallery a bit) https://www.haf.gr/2016/05/335-mira-nato-tiger-meet-2016/
  13. Quoting RAZBAM's facebook post on May 31st Please tell me there is a LTV A-7 Corsair II somewhere carefully tucked away in that big red line up there... :)
  14. This may sound sad or weird but among all the other aspects that made me feel hyped while watching this video of a module I have pre-purchased and can't wait to play, is that Matt also experiences stutters while playing and this gives me hope that they are looking into the matter which for the past month or so has been bugging many. I mean unless I am mistaken, there has been no acceptance on the developers side that the problem exists and that it is being investigated. At least now I know for sure that they know first hand about it! And hope...
  15. I get the exact same thing as boapiu when clicking the dropbox link on the opening post. What are we doing wrong?!?!?
  16. Thanks, glad you like it. I am not an expert on the history of the Hellenic air force but I think that even though 335 Squadron takes part in NATO's tiger meet, the paint was created for a Greek airshow called Archangel back in 2005 as a gift from the Hellenic Aviation Industry.
  17. This is a set of two fictional tiger liveries of which one comes in two versions (Shiny & Matte). The two-versioned one is a generic skin with no country markings on it and the other is a Hellenic air force skin based on an actual paint job that was used on the legendary A-7 Corsair II. This is my first effort in texturing a 3D model and hopefully it is an adequate effort, which the community will enjoy. Feel free to give constructive criticism. --Installation-- Place the three folders inside the game’s installation directory: \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Liveries\F-86F Sabre It has been tested with DCS v1.5.3 --Uninstall-- By simply deleting the three folders --Download-- Unavailable.
  18. Sabre Skins created for earlier version do not work as intended after DCS 1.5. They need to be updated.
