  1. Its been a while, but I used to use one of their button modules and the Landing Gear / Trim module. The GF Keys tool works fairly well and will send key presses to any full screen app (never tried it with windowed apps but I assume it would work as well).
  2. I have run four with no issues. That said, be aware that TARGET only supports two MFDs last I checked. Didn't matter to me as I don't really use TARGET.
  3. Pre order buy. The F8 is my favorite 'nam era plane.
  4. Debolestis smallest shift register board WILL fit in the KG12 (with some modification by a razor knife / Drimmel to cut away some of the internal bracing).
  5. You can run Ikarus on another monitor attached to another computer. The software has that capability and works just fine. See my setup here for an example: Unfortunately, there is currently no way to export view exports like the MFCD, RWR to another PC.
  6. I have the Samsung monitor as well. Really love it and have had zero problems running DCS or any game / sim for that matter. BMS, ARMA, IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad...all seem to run just fine on it.
  7. Not interested in paying for something I have already. Thanks.
  8. Heheh....so did I! And I was so ready to give him an R-73 enema too! I was confused when he didn't pop out in front of me, but as I hit eject I realized what must have happened. So funny...I still grin when I think about it. The pilot was a good sport about it on chat too....think he laughed as hard about it as I did.
  9. Quick highlight of some fun PvP action from my Twitch / YouTube live stream. Situation Overview: Running home after a successful sortie with a Mirage hot on my heels. I'm waaaay low on gas. Not good! It ends in an amusing fashion. :megalol:
  10. Ikraus J-11A Fix The current version of Ikarus does not currently work with the new J-11A Flaming Cliffs aircraft without a few modifications. Here's what I did to get it to work. 1. Go to your (username)\Saved Games\ (DCS and/or DCS.openbeta)\Scripts\DCS-ExportScript\ExportsModules folder. 2. Create a new file called J-11A.lua by copying the existing Su-27.lua file. Note that if you have both DCS 2.5 and DCS Openbeta you need to have the J-11A.lua file in the \Scripts\DCS-ExportScript\ExportsModules for both versions. 3. Now, go to the folder location where you have installed Ikarus. Create two new files in the Ikarus folder called J-11A.ikarus and J-11A.xml by copying the files Su-27.ikarus and Su-27.xml. Hopefully someone else has not posted this already and it helps others get Ikarus running with the J-11A. S!
  11. I do, since I own both. The F22Pro plastic is smoother and looks nicer. The 16FLCS plastic feels a bit stronger. I stress "feels", I've not tested to be sure, but despite that choose to convert the F16FLCS stick for use with my VKB Black Mamba due to its precieved strength. The conversion was a success and it works quite well on the Mamba, BTW.
  12. So glad to hear and thank you so much for all you do for the community.
  13. Well I for one would like to say a big thanks to Chuck for all he's done for the community over the years. Not just DCS, but CLoD and BoS as well. Salute and all the best, Chuck. As for the trolls, whatever. If he has decided to call it quits, I certainly wouldn't blame him....some people are simply unhappy, ungrateful dungheads who get a kick out of picking apart stuff like these FREe guides. Don't like what he's done? Fine....take the time to develop some of your own? What that? You don't have the time, creativity or knowledge to do so? Then do us all a favor...shut up and enjoy work freely given.
  14. Outstanding!! *throws money at screen*
  15. There are so many tools that can do this I've lost count. Google joy2key, Xpadder, etc. Also know that Helios and TARGET can do this as well. Personally, I perfer using Helios as I find it very flexible to integrate the key mappings with my Helios profiles.
  16. Personally, I'd perfer an always on option rather than a switch. Currently my RWR export works fine without the toggle switch. I've been able to export other instruments simply by including a line like so at the end of each instrument .lua file using the examples included in Greek's M-2000 Helios Profile: dofile(LockOn_Options.common_script_path.."ViewportHandling.lua") try_find_assigned_viewport("Mirage_RWR") To me it doesn't seem to make much sense to have a switch button for radar but all other exports are "always on". I'd rather have an option to keep them all on all the time as I have a cockpit, but realize others use a second monitor occasionally and would rather be able to switch on and off. FYI - Don't take that as a criticism, Zeus, and it's not anything I can't work around until you guys get around to implementing an always on option for the radar export. I appreciate RAZBAM's efforts as always. :D
  17. Very pleased here, Zeus. Having a blast with the beta so far. Don't worry about he skuds....haters gonna hate. ;-) It looks like no instrument exports available yet (unless I haven't RTFM enough yet to find it...hehehehe). Not a big deal either....I figured as much given the fact this is a beta.
  18. I am just hoping I can use these handles with my Black Mamba base and Warthog adapter. If not I will improvise.
