  1. Agreed, it isn't very representational of real world dusk/dawn at the moment. Hope this can be changed, as otherwise the sky looks true to life during other times of the day.
  2. My main reason for suggesting the Mi-24/28 is that they have seen significant combat action in almost every military conflict Russia partook, whereas the Ka-50 lies somewhere between 2-4 actions.
  3. I don't think it has been fully declassified yet, and as such Eagle Dynamics won't be able to get hold of a lot of information (especially system wise) on the AH-64. Thus building a simulation around it is impossible as it is more guesswork than facts during the development. But since we are on the topic, I figure the Mi-24 would possibly be a nice alternative, as it has been fully declassified to my knowledge and has served significant roles in multiple wars. I'd love to see an Mi-28 (the Russian equivalent to the AH-64) but don't think it is declassified yet.
  4. Same here. Ka-50 anti-collision beacon does not light up FARP surface for example.
  5. I believe you can work around this now by setting the airbase resources to 0 in the supply menu. That way, players will be unable to rearm any weapons when situated there.
  6. Fantastic idea, +!
  7. Hey Sithspawn, sorry to be a pain, but do you know if the tree color issue has been reported yet? I'm not too familiar with the forum/bug tracking procedure yet, sorry. Edit: Added screen shots of the tree issue.
  8. I can confirm I'm getting the tree issue as well (dark trees that don't seem to be affected by distance for atmospheric 'hazing' (the blue hue)). This is especially notable in the Su25T Easy CAS mission from instant action. However, I do not seem to have any stutter issues at this stage. Specs: R9 290 i5-3570k Windows 7 64 bit 16 GB memory
  9. This would be awesome.
  10. I think the main problem is lack of data (in example, trying to watch the cockpit of someone in an A10C when you do not own the module, and thus are in fact missing the appropriate A10C cockpit files). This is likely also one of the main reasons why this has not been done already, as it creates a huge data protection headache (people would likey be able to pirate modules more easily if all the cockpit data was present for all aircrafts in the sim in order to make incockpit spectating happen). This could be alleviated by simply popping up with a message when someone attempts to view the cockpit of a module they do not yet own. As the data rendering for MFDS and so on can be carried out natively, there shouldn't be any slowdowns/delays: it would simply copy button presses & HOTAS movements in the same way that replaying a track file does. Just in real time for a different user. It should be doable in my opinion, but much on this depends on the current coding structure & the way data export is handled in the simulator at the moment. It's a fantastic idea and I hope it will be introduced into DCS soon.
  11. Please disable this feature by default, or at least add an option to enable/disable cockpit zoom effect on load. It is a real nuisance and feels clunky for no good reason.
  12. Hey everyone, found a working link to the trainer so sought it might be of use. https://prezi.com/t-mqmw4ygwx5/dcsa-10c-cockpit-familiarization/
