China hat forward long slaves all to spi but aft long slaves tgp to current steerpoint. There might be an issue slaving all to spi if there is no spi set, I forget if the steerpoint is set as spi by default or not?

Are you using the tgp as soi? And are you China hat aft long'ing to slave tgp to strpt? If so, are you sure you didn't then slew the tgp at all, which would adjust the spi? Just trying to cover the basics before really diving in to a possible deeper problem. :smilewink:

It's only a pre-purchase, I'm guessing nothing will show up in the manager until it's early access release in Nov?

Construction of the plexiglass parts was fairly easy to do, what took wayyy longer than I expected was wiring/soldering all the buttons. Tip-of-the-hat to those who build entire pits :thumbup:

Hey all, just wanted to share my different approach to building an a-10c ufc.I built this out of 1/4" plexiglass I had laying around and installed 36 momentary buttons wired to a gp-40 usb board. The front ufc panal is actually a printout from in-game that I laminated and superglued to the plexiglass frame. The buttons are mounted just aft of the insertable panal so that when I push on the laminated insert it actuates the button. I went this route so that I can configure this ufc to work with other aircraft by simply editing the button names on another insert. This way all I have to do when switching from, say, the a-10 to the harrier or f-18 is pull out one insert and replace it with another custom made for that aircraft. This way I don't need to build 3 different ufc units. Just an idea that seems to work...?

Just wanted to follow up after doing a little more searching KeytoJoy solved all my problems by simply assigning the axis to a keystroke and the keystroke to the UFC buttons.

Hello good people! I successfully built my first diy peripheral, the A-10c UFC. Everything is wired and working beautifully using simple pushbuttons except for those buttons which run to the gpwiz-40's axis and rotation input slots. So my question is how can I make dcs recognize these inputs as buttons so that they can be assigned to ufc buttons?

My guess is for realism's sake. AFAIK agms when loaded on ters on each wing will scorch the landing gear tires with the inside agm rocket blasts and can mess up the tgp's lense with the outside rocket blast.

Where else can mission files be found? Another site? I've only ever used the DCS download section.

You could check the user files section in downloads on the DCS website. Just set the filters as you see fit for aircraft or module.

I'm just wondering if anyone at ED considered allowing aircraft to be demoed before purchase, say for a few days to a week? Seeing as every aircraft has is own "feel" it would give the customer the ability to try it out before deciding to purchase to see if fits them. I think it would cut down on some of the complaints from those who buy a module and then complain that the flight model is poor or features are missing/glitchy and then futilely demand a refund by allowing them to 'try before they buy'. Any thoughts?

Not difficult, I'm very used to doing this in the P-51, simply wondering if any other options were implemented that I haven't thought of.
