Ok, I never used Nvidia Inspector, so I downloaded it, opened it, and at 'Number of GPUs to use on SLI rendering mode' I altered the drop-down to the right of it to 'SLI_GPU_COUNT_TWO' and then right top corner Apply settings... Ow, and afterwards I found the home icon left top, I selected 'c:\program files\eagle dynamics\dcs world openbeta\run.exe' and saved that profile, since I don't need my system to SLI my desktop:pilotfly:

Yeah, I manually set the GPU count and it works. Not sure how well it works yet, since I still need to put away my steering wheel and setup my flight gear again. But it's using both cards...

Surely it has nothing to do with the profile, since I'm setting my settings by hand, therefore not using a profile ?

Same thing here. 2x 980Ti and no matter what setting I use for Nvidia control panel, 2nd card is NOT being used...

It works... Edit: It doesn't. Modules are seen but thats it.

You're not charging your phone on a USB port, are you ? Because then it might try to boot off of it and either hang or at least take forever. Meanwhile you're looking at your flight-gear, trying to figure it out :joystick: Only other thing I can think of is that the BIOS is set to auto overclock and it fails.

Just a heads up: This mod prevented my newly aquired Combined Arms to be seen ingame. Possibly because it's directly in the Tech folder and CA is in a folder inside that Tech folder (I have not looked into file structure enough to determine that 100% and CBA to research it). Disabling mod didn't help, removing the entry.lua did.

What I dislike (well it's a strong word but I have no other) about Slaw is his 'inaccessability'. Apparently he has a FB page, but I don't do FB. All one can do is email him. If I want to buy something, I want to look at it and stuff. I want to see a price and how long it will take. On a website, with specs, regularly updated, whatever....

Funny how there's Always someone to dig up an old post. I wish someone would clean up this forum. And split the 'new posts' into language... I have no use for posts in russian for example...

What does it take to run a server anyway ? I haven't looked into it yet, but my interest for now lies primarily with helicopters, and I could run a dedicated server.

After a repair, the whole interior is moving/vibrating. Applying force (lift collective) stops it, but the moment you land somewhere and lower collective it's back.

I am interested, but in 10-15 cm.

Not really... Not yet. I did install the Vietnam Mod because it was needed for some campaign (that I haven't gotten to yet), and I looked at the Helios profile but decided that since I bought a TrackIR I don't really need it untill I have a touchscreen Yes, in 2 weeks time I bought a Warthog, pedals, TrackIR, FC3 and Huey. Ow and P-51 on it's way on DVD because it was on sale. When I try something new I try to not go cheap and have a real experience, instead of being disappointed just because I lack something. If I fail, it's probably me :noexpression:

Ye, I do need to practice hovering and landing. I just can't repeat the same thing over and over for hours, so I'm doing the UN campaign as I go along. Almost made mission 3, but crashed while landing back at base (did drop off the reporter correctly). I'm just telling myself that if a war was going on and the pilot would be shot and I would suddenly have to fly the damn thing, there wouldn't be any time to practice either :joystick: I will look for more training/practice missions.
