I wonder if its because its really a user made skin and not one from FC3??? https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1578336/
-
yeah, no joy... Tried deleting files too and doing a repair
-
the only WA tailcode F-15C's I have in my game are USAF aggressor skins... But yet, there is this skin shown on the background when loading a mission... I am using FC3 steam version of 1.5.7 https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7Nnto9-0fP6MjNqSWplMFFWbDA/view?usp=sharing

added pictures to show what I mean cockpitview1.bmp is when I load into the sim and touch nothing... cockpitview2.bmp is when I press numpad enter key after I load into the sim https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7Nnto9-0fP6TkhsMGtzeE00OXM/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7Nnto9-0fP6em5NSDV5T0xmejA/view?usp=sharing

Is it just me or is the default view on the F-15 messed up? Like I can't read the HUD... Then if I press the enter key on the numpad the view is just the HUD??? I will take screenshots to illustrate.

i'm talking about when you set avionics language in the in game settings options panel... You can choose native or English, when you choose native everything works fine... When you choose English you can't get your crew reading your checklists off to you

Maybe the US Navy Version of F-4? Since Belsimtek is making the F-4E only (as of recent public news that they were making the F-4E)
-
feature only works in Russian currently... Not in English and no news about it being made to be in English yet.

I'm giving it some time to see which I'll go with... Both have their respective pros and cons

I'm selling fully USB converted Suncom HOTAS setup via FUSBA. Contact me I'm taking offers -
does the aircraft Datum (W looking thing) on the HUD flash when at 13 degrees pitch as the -1 manual says happens... in the sim?

any tips on landing the F-15 with no external stores and only 30% of fuel? I keep landing too hard and busting my main gear struts... Funny that I can land extremely heavy okay, but when light I break the gears...
-
Are you not supposed to use wheel brakes when below 90 knots and nose wheel planted on the ground? No such thing as disable nose wheel steering on the F-15, it just makes the nose wheel free swiveling.
-
What I did was keep 21 units of AOA and then as the runway filled the width of the hud brackets, I started my flare by increasing pitch to where the flight path marker was on the other end of the runway and then I reduced throttle to idle. Soon as the main wheels touch the ground I extend the airbrake and hold the nose 10 degrees pitch until nose wheel lowers (usually takes full aft stick) then I hit the wheel brakes until I'm stopped. Btw I noticed that the wheel brakes are making me yaw around when I'm trying to stop... used my rudder pedals toe brakes and tried also pressing the W key on the keyboard... The plane wants to wobble in yaw left and right. Any ideas what could be causing this? I don't think it's my controls setup Maybe the breaks are skidding or slipping

added a DCS track of trying to land the F-15C as heavy as I could get it without causing damage... 4 120's and 4 AIM 7's and 3 external tanks... Worst case scenario for landing a really heavy bird. I was looking for maximum landing weights and couldn't find any. So i'm guessing with the correct technique you can land it heavy. Boy that mantra of 21 units of AOA is magic, automatically adjusts for your payload causing higher approach speeds. lemme know what you think F-15lndg.trk

Anyone have a picture of where the flight path marker needs to be on the bud to be on a -3 degree glideslope for landing and in relation to the landing runway The pitch ladder clearly defines the horizon, 0 degrees and -5 degrees... And using logic one can extrapolate that in the middle of 0 and -5 degrees is -2.5 degrees. But where exactly would -3 degrees be for proper landing glideslope?

Did the C model of the F/A-18 have the capability of buddy tanking or just the super hornet has it?

I think the S-3 and IL-78 have different physics for the drouge... I noticed that the S-3 is extremely temperamental when trying to stay connected with the probe on the M2000C, and on the contrary... With the SU-33 staying connected to the IL-78 with the probe is so easy. I think because the S-3 refueling hose is rigid, whereas the IL-78 hose has physics applied to it.
-
Are you sure? Because I thought the same thing until I saw that the T/O trim function seems to be working now.
-
Is the T/O trim working now in the F-15? I noticed when I do not use it sometimes my elevators are trimmed nose up on start-up... I was wondering if now it becomes very necessary to use the T/O Trim for every takeoff?

Still for sale, I'm willing to negotiate

Would these parameters work with flying the F-15C

have any links by any chance where I can read the -1 or -34? -
Would these parameters work with flying the F-15C
Baz000 replied to Baz000's topic in F-15C for DCS World
Like the airspeeds and altitudes for the E model and techniques, do they work for the C? Since the C is lighter and less thrust? Btw: I never found out about that castle hat -
So, when searching for how the castle hat works on the F-15C so I could setup my HOTAS warthog realistically... I stumbled on a real gem I think... I was wondering if these parameters and techniques for the F-15E explained by an actual mud hen pilot would also work for the F-15C give or take some modifications to some of the parameters? Anyone have any suggestions? GGTharos this is just the right question for you. https://www.avsim.com/home/reviews/f-15e-strike-eagle-from-milviz-and-saitek-x52pro-controller-r259/
