I was interested in purchasing 2 table top mounts for my thrust master warthog stick and throttle + the stick extension set and the bases, as my own birthday gift... Came to be 351.28 BYN without shipping... With the shipping it goes to 558.88 BYN converting it to my currency the shipping drives up the price so much... (I live in the east coast of USA) I was interested in maybe getting the stick grip too, but I might wait and see what other companies are doing (VKB MCG [lower priced], Thustmaster F-18 grip, etc) The VKB MCG interests me because the trigger and brake paddle are made of metal, not plastic... So it should be more durable. 351.28 Belarusian Ruble equals 181.21 US Dollar 558.88 Belarusian Ruble equals 288.31 US Dollar $107.10 for shipping to the USA? Really???

Suncom SFS and Talon restoration and mods
Baz000 replied to debolestis's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
For anyone interested, I'm willing to sell my Suncom HOTAS setup converted to USB VIA FUSBA from realsimulator.com... I upgraded to a HOTAS Warthog. The only issue I have with mine is one of the throttle POTs needs replacing in order to operate as a dual thottle, they can be slaved together so they mirror the same input and work similar to a single throttle using the FUSBA software. The realsimulator guys have POTs they sell for replacing, just shoot them an E-mail. http://realsimulator.com/html/fusba.html -
Okay, I got it working but the voices are only in Russian and it only works when in the options menu under the game play tab you set the avionics language to native... It will not work when avionics language is set to English. Maybe we should get an English voice over translation for the crew reading the checklists. Can't seem to get the crew door commands working tho...
-
I think it should work something like this but my settings are set to English avionics and English cockpit

I don't use auto start I click the switches with the mouse, can someone from dev team look into this matter please
-
See this dev post here, but none of it is working for me https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3054631&postcount=835

Tried that too, no joy.

So I have the STEAM version of MI-8 and I was excited to see the new crew reading kneeboard checklist commands, but none of them are working for me. I tried left shift and numbers 1-5 on the number pad and nothing happens... I also tried left shift and the arrow keys to try the new crew door commands and still nothing happens... seems like nothing at all in the crew control category in the controls menu screen is working. Is anyone else having any problems or is it just me?

https://www.shapeways.com/product/VL6QM4JWK/warthog-throttle-part?optionId=60879173 Can you explain what this part does when installed in the Warthog throttle? If it is what I think it does i'm interested in getting it. What I think it might do is modify the warthog afterburner detent to a push through rather than what came from thrustmaster which was a pull and push I'd like more info about it.

Do I need to do anything if I use STEAM version of DCS with MIG-21 Module purchased from STEAM?

What about the F-15E Strike Eagle? Is that still in the works? I know you guys were waiting for ED to finish the ground radar framework from the F/A-18C so it would allow other aircraft to be developed with ground radar. Really was looking forward to the Mud Hen.

I just did a quick search for razbam fsx harrier and I saw some photos of the pilots with helmet covers and also without, all and all it looks good... Small little details like these really add to the simulator experience. Thanks for your answer to my question. I'm really looking forward to flying these things off those LHDs like the Bataan or Wasp which will turn out to be mad fun

Quick question, US Marine Corps Harrier pilots usually have their helmets covered by camouflage (same kind worn by troops in the theater of operations, eg... Desert or woodland Marpat for current day... Older camo for years ago) They do this to show solidarity to the troops on the ground that they support with their CAS missions and also because every US Marine is a rifleman first... Even if they are a pilot, every Marine is trained as a rifleman As there is no more deadly weapon than a US Marine and his rifle on the battlefield. Just wondering if such a feature would be included for the AV8B you guys are working on, as little details such as this distinguish these Marine aviators from others.

Thank you good sir, logs attached... They are not just of today however, they go back in date since year 2014 lol but I have been having a lot of crashes to desktop lately, with it saying DCS is not responding. I play mostly multiplayer and that is when I experience it. Would love to know whats going wrong with it and to have a solution to my troubles. Hope the logs will help Logs.zip
-
Where does DCS save the logs? I had quite alot of problems, including entire game would crash taking me back to OS when server would crash. Says DCS has stopped responding
-
I agree, the virtual kneeboard has too many limitations... I have a solution in mind and I think you guys would like it in the end, because you could do flight plan plotting and write down notes on the fly, etc...

for the life of me I can't figure out the in-game camera system, I made this video but the camera work... I don't like it

To celebrate the news that Cobra gave us about the Tomcat being deployed to the fleet in 2017... Since you guys can't see me jumping for joy when I read that... I made a Fan made teaser video to get you ready to kick the tires and light the fires, I must apologize for my camera-work I don't understand yet how to use cameras in DCS. Hope all of you enjoy, and Cobra I can't wait to scare the hell out of some Soviet Bear bomber crews

i'm not following what that all means

so it doesn't keep the nosewheel from swiveling then?
