I suppose they don´t even have to use guns, engine wash is enought ;) Does a f18 flying near you really have to use flares to make itself noticeable ? Don´t think def people are able to get a flight licence... how would they taxi to take off?:D And yeah shooting a cessna for bad radio isn´t good for popularity, especially with elections drawing themselves on the horizon. The only ones known to do that and take pride on it are cubans.

Iґm out of sinc here... Whats the intrest of a military plane in a civilian sim ? Its like inserting a m16 on the sims knowing you have the only m16 and no bullets.

If you have something that goes ballistic and explode you can go bash whatever you want.... boats vehicles, can even try to get fast flying ducks like f15 out of the ground, well if you score a hit let me know....;)

I still donґt believe much in this 2 eyes opens.. Just do a circle with your hand put it just away from your leading eye and try to focus with both eyes open... it doesnґt work right. Much less for a sniping quality shoot. Both eyes open remain for short to medium distance where you only need a reasonable degree of direction with the iron sight since thereґs few chances to miss due to the closeness of the foe + acurracy of the weapon. As a fact now i remember various GW2 footages showing soldiers closing eyes for dificult shooting.

About the texture it has been said they are 3rd party. Unfortunatly things like, changing skin when season changes, is a bit optimistic. Like 1/3 of the american troops went to Iraq with green camo... So autoswitch, doesn´t happen in reality. It is true to some extent but not all. And since we doesn´t have a Dyn campaign but a sequence of canned... I don´t imagine anyone doing a sequence of canned mission simming a war that last more than a season...That would be....herculean work. As for screenshot being good marketing. As a FCSimer, i would be a thousand times more enthusiastic if we had some movie with sounds, so we could hearing some chats, cause actually there´s none... Heck a MP3 only would do it...Anything from this cold, imersion shattering, silence LOCK mac is.:( No need to go fance, just a landing with warchat on background and more ATC instructions. That is immersion. I would be more happy to see damage modeling screenshots... Its nice to see all those beautifull shiny things, but they aren´t intended to remain in that state.:D 90% of the time i will only approach the wreckage so they´re more important to me than the brand new.;) Smoke, blowing up animation and wreckage. By the way, i´ve seem many tanks busting on you tube, military.com etc movies and i rarely see something ablaze after the BOOM. So no need to have such billowing flames, infantry mechs are made of steel not wood planks. As 9/11 showed to the world, combustible don´t stay ablaze much in explosive condition, it will go boom spread and game over. No need to waste time on billowing flames that would exist and eat processing, keep this processing for the smoke if that be. So some fancy cammo don´t turm me on, cause for much part we´ll won´t see it but in the library. Isuppose this is reserved for the LOMAC BAttle Sim Project. All we got are news from the outside world of BS, not from the core, but the ED team of course, but very few to see or hear but for GA movies. Even then the work seem great.

Sincerely... This grafic movie is nice but empty as a shell. No avionics working can be seen, no weapon modelling, no AI to load the CPU etcetcetc... Its the kind of game you tire in 2 seconds fly around sightseen and ? And then what ? nothing. The gripes with Lomac are : Damage modeling sucks, 3 or 4 pre metches, wings that fall apart nicely with no visible frame structure. No comments for ground damage...its even worse. If as said Lomac could import some from IL2... Other deceiving feature is the radio silence, lack of coms during battle, should have some broad channels, warused channels , squadron close channels etcetc.. So we can feel being in the middle of sumthing alive and not a canned box. In this regard F4 did itfairly well. Never seens the -whatever6- Those are the 2 greats deficiency for LOMAC. I would love a dinamic campaign a-la f4, but well, we know it won´t happen. Doesn´t even need as complex as F4, a DID EF2000 V2.0 would already be Great.. 15 year old game...

We're talking eye naked eye... Even so X2/X4 ain't suficient for half a kilometer, you can shoot X8 to X12...or even more. Do a simple thing... take a cigarette pack put it on the ground... walk back a thousand good steps. I i remember well , but i´m not entirely sure of it, a 1m80cm 5'6" men loose 1/3 of his eight at 200 feets. Thats why scopes are graduated so knowing this exact factor you can aproximately get the distance of the target and make wind/ballistic correction as needed. There is a SF a real history here in Brasil. A BOPE sniper in a favela was seeing, through a light nocturnal haze, a narco guard with what seemed to be an AK 47/74. He had a new rifle (unknow model) and after bugging his captain was greened to fire. It was a top down shot. He aimed the guy in the chest, but he was still used to his older equipment behavior. When they got there, the guy was writting on the floor the Ak by his side. But he hadn´t got the chest, he got the guys balls.... i´m not sure bout the distance but if i rember well was about 600-770m

This for dominant eye indication ? or shooting ? And yes what i´ve heard by some SF if that the max reliable range for ironsight is around 400 feets. 500m or aprox 1500 feet is B. eye naked. Mcnab your right.... most near shooting are done without aim and witohut leading, but where on static target here. And whoever said it, i had forgotten about bad trigger pull deviation, but if the guy can shoot beetwen hearbeats this is joke for him.

Its not about skill with firearms, firearms are done to be foolproof...kids shooting people have already prooven it, any 4 year old can shoot someone after a 2 minute lesson. Its not about weapon accuracy weapon accuracy goes up to 2,5 km with proper wind correction... its not only about breath, its about heartbeat too, but lets say you're properly trained as a pro and have learned to slow your heart and can shoot beetween heartbeats... Its mostly about the size of a cigarette pack at 500m. Eye naked...not. its the size of a needle at 30m, without glint or shine. And the needle would be easyer to hit. This i only believe seeing it...You tube ?;) Unless, with a remote probability that your shooting from the top of a fall on a cigarette pack at the bottom of it.... and even then i am more than skeptical. I think more there a misunderstanding in feets and meters. Or a misjudgement on the lenght. 500feets would do more or less 196-7 meters... its very hard but i suppose it can be done.

If you use a scope why maintain an eye open ? To look around ? If you look around you´ll loose the correct aim of the target.... without counting the probable ballistic/wind adj. you´ll have to do. If its 50m i do this with a bow...nothing impressive there...

If hackers have done a similar job (Assuming this is true), why the official couldn´t do this ? Usually as far as i know as Ti (but not game) much things are possible, its just a lack of priorities, funds or marketing miopy or time.

I wonґt bet on that statement...USA time and again, had made promise of delivering weaponry and once the sold was done, havenґt delivered for "national security issues" or any in the genre statement. Last case was SA if i remember well. It is well know UAS arent bent on tech transfer too.
