In what universe is an a10 going to be the primary method of taking out Kubs and osas? So, to be clear, you guys think the exercise will be "balanced" with an su25t carrying 20 missiles and a ka50 carrying 12, both aircraft with a shkval while blue has an a10 with maverick d's only and no targeting pod? I think the issue is going to be pretty complicated. The fact that red has a plane that can carry nearly 20 missiles could be considered an advantage. Red, in DCS, has sead. Blue planes in the timeframe had sead as well(shrike, harm) but aren't flyable aircraft in dcs. Blue had attack helo that arent represented in dcs (cobra, apache) while red gets a legit gunship that can carry double the missiles of an a10c. If you want to talk about a balanced scenario, I think we can do so. If you want to talk about a time frame accurate scenario I think we can do so. Where you'll fail is when you try to achieve both, simultaneously. Sent while I should be working instead.

Neither moltar nor myself are upset with having maverick D's as the only option. I assure you we're both fine with it. The only issue either of us had until recently is that we weren't sure if the change was in fact, a change, or a bug. Sent while I should be working instead.

Having only maverick d's solves this problem, not makes it harder. The D's we are forced to use now follow moving targets. As I said in a previous post. The "back to the future" Tgp as you put it is no more out out of time frame than the Ka 50 or Su25t for a 1980s scenario. You want both of those to go away too or is it only blue hardware? Ciribob, the other day, we seemed to have an issue where one group on a channel couldn't hear another group. When speaking 3 or 4 people could hear me but 3 or 4 others could not It seemed exclusive. As though A,B, and C could all ear each other but D, E, and F couldn't hear them but could hear each other. If that makes sense. All were on the same frequency. We quit using leavu when your tears overpowered logic. Helios allows those of us with 2nd monitors to use profiles to control the airplanes with clickable cockpits. There isn't really much use for leavu in the a10c, which is primarily what I fly in blue flag. You were welcome to come fly with us to verify that we weren't any time.
