  1. Mine showed in customs for a week, then the doorbell rang...it still showed in customs nearly 2 weeks after i received them. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  2. Mine was entering characters til BSOD....issue was throttle. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  3. Once i got Nevada, i kept getting server timeout on the Huey and Mi8 module DL's. Im sure ill have the entire day off on release day, and stare at a failed or slow dL progress bar. The first day i work, they'll have it ironed out. ;) Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  4. Yep. Thats the reason for the relatively easy wrist slaps for the first two TK's in my suggestion. That being said, those types of things may be difficult to impliment, if theyre even possible. Another issue is, TKing players vs friendly AI's. It wasnt 104th, but yesterday i accidentally killed 4 friendlies with one cluster bomb...would have instantly got me to step 4 for an accidental blue on blue. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  5. Dont forget the whole "goofy ass torrent 13kb/s downloads the day of the release. ;) Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  6. Escalating bans. 1st, a warning, 2nd, 15 minutes, 3rd a 12 hour ban...etc. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  7. Understood. Team killing abusers that are repeat offenders deserve escalating bans. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  8. Im with you if it happens repeatedly, as i said, but im ok with it being a possibility, just as in the real world, until it becomes a recurring problem. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  9. If tk'ing becomes repetitive, its an issue. Until it does, friendly fire and the risk thereof is part of real combat and therefore has a place in simulation, no? Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  10. Youre of course entitled to your opinion. I agree the MFG's don't look the part but their functionality is unparalleled. Lol @ the shoe measuring resemblance. Youre right on that one! I can totally understand him not wanting thrustmaster to not profit off of HIS work. Its proprietary. Its his work. Why should they? Hes not a thrustmaster employee. In the small, niche world of simming, we have extremely limited options. His product, assuming it comes to fruition will expand those hardware options on a relatively massive scale. I dont view his opinion of the inferiority of the other options out there as a bad thing. If that motivates somebody to make an outstanding quality sim component in a market that is seemingly starving for them, then i wish him the best of luck. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  11. Ah....my fault....i missed that part....its late here. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  12. We've seen pictures of prototypes, i thought. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  13. I sort of took his position as competitive drive. Nothing wrong with that. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  14. You wont regret it. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  15. Cant wait til some of your stuff is available to order. Keep going! Part of every success story is the part where the owner didnt listen to the people saying it couldnt be done! Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  16. The x55 throttle is recognized as another joystick with one throttle being pitch and the other roll. I hated having to reprogram every single plane's profile, then randomly madcatz would clear all of my profiles. They were just gone. Nothing to load...just start from scratch....obnoxious. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  17. Yes...well sort of. I turned the thumb mouse on the x55 throttle into bands and then macro'd the keyboard keys( , . / ;) to the different bands and got it working but man was it ever a pain in the ass. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  18. I have both. I actually used the hog stick with the x55 throttle for a while so i definitely have experience with both. Im sure others mentioned theres no twist in the hog stick so pedals are a must. You dont have as many rotaries with the hog throttle and the slew on it isnt as good as the thumb mouse nipple on the x55. That being said, i still prefer the hog more in every way. Youll wonder how you were using the x55 once you get the stick. In addition, not having to use MADCATZ shitty software is worth the price of the hog alone. It just works. Theres no binding stuff to keyboard commands in the outside software or loading profiles...it just plugs in and boom. It works. Get the hog. No brainer. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  19. Dont like it? Stick with 1.2. Some people hate being given options. I'll never understand. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  20. The part thats strange isit doesnt fail in instant action or single player. Works every time. Any ideas? Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  21. So, myself and a few friends were trying a user made cooperative mission. I hit windows key home to auto start the shark. I go to take off after it says "aircraft ready" and get ekran beeps. Some investigation shows that the right engine isn't starting. I'm able to start it manually. It isn't happening in single player/instant action missions but happens every time in the multiplayer server. The single player missions, it starts perfect and Im able to take off normally. Any theories?
  22. I think i was copying the scripts in the dcs folder, not the user/saved games folder. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  23. I got it working. Your directions worked perfectly Vicx. Thanks for helping an idiot. Rep.
  24. I'm not positive it's not working as intended. I'm not saying it's a bug...just trying to figure out what exactly is happening.
  25. I'm pretty sure this is what I did but I'll try it again when I get home. Thanks for your patience. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
