Problem with Helios / 2nd monitor
Beeroshima replied to JPS2K's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Vulpes, the solution was in windows. I right clicked on the desktop and somewhere in the display, there is a slider that controls scaling. I moved it all the way to the left and it solved the issue. Wish i could be more specific but its been months. Sent when i should be working instead -
If you have the steam version, do yourself a favor and just get the standalone now. /end thread. All of your modules will carry over to stand alone, but stand alone doesn't carry over to steam. Pretty much makes the decision for you right there.

Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - ROUND 9
Beeroshima replied to gregzagk's topic in Multiplayer
Daniel, with all due respect to the BS team, they just moved servers and the practice round has seen substantial lag and warping. At this point, with engine limitations, id say making the rounds simpler is a better idea than adding new wrinkles. Sent while i should be working instead. -

Additionally, we took Novo, had someone land, rearm, and refuel there, only to have it remain under red control after reset...extremely strange happenings. -

So, just now, when we took Anapa, the final airfield in PAC1, Moltar spotted a random TOR. Is this planned? I didn't think Tors were in blue flag. -

You lose a life on takeoff and get refunded one on landing is the way the system works. Sent while i should be working instead. -
Viewports not working in 1.5.5
Beeroshima replied to Beeroshima's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I'm not sure where it happened, but somewhere, my install just wasn't working right. Overnight, I downloaded a fresh install of DCS and now everything is working properly. Weird to say the least, but I'll take it. -
Viewports not working in 1.5.5
Beeroshima replied to Beeroshima's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I'm familiar with how to edit the lua with notepad++ I'm changing the coordinates of some of the viewports, but they aren't responding in 1.5.5 When i edit them in the notepad for 2.0, they move just fine. I had this working perfectly before, upgraded to windows 10 and put everything back in, only to have 2.0 work and 1.5.5 crap itself. The other thing that's really weird, is the Left and Right MFCD's from the monitor file are working and responding to coordinate changes -
Viewports not working in 1.5.5
Beeroshima replied to Beeroshima's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
No, it does show up in the setup page, i'm not sure what would make the exact same monitor config lua show up and work perfectly in 2.0 but be all glitched out in vegas... -
I'm having a strange issue in 1.5.5 When I fly the A10C, Some of my viewports from my monitor config file are not rendering as they should be according to the set coordinates and dimensions. I have a 3 monitor setup. Two stacked vertically, and one off to the right. I used the exact same config file for 2.0 and it works just fine in 2.0 It's stretching the clock, countermeasure panel and a few others and putting them over on the 3rd screen on the right. I can't for the life of me figure out what is going wrong. Here is a link to my monitor setup file in my saved games folder on my C drive. Note, I haven't input all of the coordinates for my setup yet. The file, regardless of what i enter for anything other than the 2 mfcd's doesn't respond. If i load the same file in vegas, everything is appearing and moving according to my input in the lua. I'll finish replotting the coords once i figure this out. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ay74rqajy34zhj3/Helios2017Test.lua?dl=0 This file is working fine on 2.0 Here is a screenshot of what I'm getting when I run this file in 1.5 I've circled the stretched misplaced viewports in red on the right. Note: I have helios turned off for this picture, and i'm running dcs on a 4k television above a 3440x1440 monitor below it. The monitor off to the right where the stretched, incorrect viewports are showing up is a 1920 x 1080 monitor.

Is anyone else experiencing some of the A10C's exports not working correctly? I have a 3 monitor setup. My MFCD's both seem to be working, however, my countermeasure panels, digital clock and radio frequencies all seem to be appearing outside of the area i have defined in my monitor setup file. I've changed the size and coordinates but they are remaining stretched and in the location they seem to be stuck in. Snacko was experiencing the same issue. After Testing, the issue isn't happening in Vegas. Caucus version only. I'm using the exact same Monitor Config lua in both versions. it works perfectly in 2.0
