Hey there Glyn That’s exactly what happened to me after the latest update today. I created a mission which I was just about to Post in the User files and I have flown it many many times in testing and all was fine. I was launching off the “Waist” Cat after an Ai launches from the “Bow”. After the Update my AC is not visible on the Carrier at start of mission and only after a both Ai Hornets launch then I become visible but on the wrong Cat. It’s all very screwed up and even once been morphed into one of the other Ai Hornets as one of the image shows. The image from the cockpit is how it was before Update, myself on Waist Cat with Ai Hornet taking off from Bow and another Bow Ai Cat Hornet who takes off after me. The image with the Hornet taking off from the Bow and no AC in Waist Cat in the foreground is where I am supposed to be at mission start. I also tried to reposition the AC in ME but could not replicate my original mission AC placement on Stennis and is in PG map off the Coast of Ras Al Kaimah. Please ED fix this issue.

After all this time.. why? Well, here I am 1st of Feb 2020 revisiting this Campaign and the HSI & WP designation is still broken. What more can I say.. other than I'm pretty disappointed, a little p%$#!d off and just wondering why after all this time, it's not fixed?. Please ED address this issue once and for all. Update: Am actually now in the first of the BFM Aggressors "Practice" missions which is an Air Start and surprisingly everything works beautifully.. moving Map, dist to WP, HSI all perfect. Anyway, I feel much better now, just saying lol :)

Hey there good folks I bought the Black Shark in a box years ago and thankfully was my first introduction to DCS World. I had some arcade style fun with it as in auto targeting in easy flying mode but nothing serious. Years later I was side tracked by A-10C and in the last year or so the Hornet. I stayed loyal and purchased Black Shark 2 and now I'm feeling ready to learn something new but kinda don't know where to start other than reading DCS manual and Chucks guide too. I'm just wondering if a English Cockpit is available as this would make switches and instruments more easily recognisable to help along with my start up training and other tasks and procedures. :book:

How do I talk to Stennis? Hey Hollywood and hey all I’m just learning Carrier landings and takeoffs and just general procedures in relation to contacting Stennis or other Carriers using VA and VP. I’m wondering if the manual has been updated to accommodate for this or do I just contact Carrier in a similar way one would talking to land based ATC? Also, how will VA and VP work with the new Super Carrier that’s coming? Sorry if this has been asked before. Cheers all GA :thumbup:

Hey there Hollywood, hope all is well. I'm having some issues with my VA since the latest update. I don't have any Volume control over the BRA calls in my Hornet on either Channel. Also when slider is set to zero in Audio Options you can still hear the calls and also the calls play out side my Aircraft even when the option is set for it not to. Any ideas mate? I forgot to mention when I run DCS without VA both Radio CH Volumes work perfectly and also when outside cockpit no radio can be heard.

Hi there, since the last update my AWACS is able to be heard outside of my Aircraft whilst in Ext View, Fly By or Weapon View. And I always set the option so as not to hear it whilst out side. Anyone else have this issue? Recap: After more experimenting I found that in my Hornet flying in two completely different and separate missions I cannot adjust the Vol in either Ch 1 or Ch 2 when receiving BRA calls nor does the slider in Audio Options have any effect on the Volume even when set to zero. This is really whacky, I haven't had this problem before. I'm trying my best to see if it's a problem my end but I dble checked everything as I haven't changed any of my settings. Any ideas or help, would be much appreciated. Cheers G I found the issue and it's my Voice Attack! Seems I got the wrong Update culprit.. I completely forgot about checking that first. Ran those missions without VA and DCS was perfect. Geez.. now what.. where's Hollywood!? lol

No I agree with you and I shouldn't get so frustrated by it. And it was kind of a superfluous post from me, I shouldn't have bothered. It's just sometimes when I'm working on a mission and something goes all weird I'm left thinking is this my fault or the ME you know? You see, to me this is one of the best things about DCS, able to create like this and I'm only an average mission builder really anyway. Hey it's cool, I'll roll with it and I'm happy overall and appreciate the fact we have this awesome tool. Me won't moan about it again. Cheers :thumbup:

Ok, I merely asked the question as many errors are still currently evident and are those examples all in one update or over a period of time? Ok, sorry just saw that "single" you mention. Alright point taken, hey just a frustrated mission builder here man.

Hey there, hope your all good. I've been checking this.. "Official Updates » DCS World 2.5 Changelog and Updates of Open Beta" quite frequently lately and in the last few weeks and someone correct me if I'm wrong but it seems ED has left the ME in the wilderness or the too hard basket. The ME seriously needs looking at as many facets of it just don't work correctly, whether it be JTAC pluking up or AI units not behaving as they should and many other issues relating to. It's like things have been busted in there for years now and no one seems to care. And at the risk of this post getting deleted or moved I just felt I had to speak up. All I really wish is that ED give the ME some love. :thumbup:
