I reported this months ago, but RAZBAM seems to be aware of that issue regarding PID.
-
Voted no. I don't see any benefit of using this kind of aircraft in any kind of OP mission.
-
I'm really satisfied with the new guns damage settings. Nice work !

:smilewink:

Better get a new one I guess...

Holly molly !!

Post edited to avoid confusion. In fact that's the collective position that jumps, due to the inputs of my physical throttle position. Anyone with the same kind of stick may confirm this "issue" ?
-
When I said throttle I'm refering to my joystick throttle not the collective. The crank it has makes the collective to suddenly jump a bit for some milliseconds which lead sometimes to an engine failure or a loss of power. I'm never using the AB part of the throttle, except in case of emergency situation such as ground/object avoidance, anyway no one flies an helicopter with 100% of torque except on Battlefield. I'm just wondering if the engine is that sensitive on the real helicopter.
-
Hello folks, Well, I just find the engine too sensitive. The problem maybe comes from my joystick as it has some "cranks" position (idle & afterburners). Putting the throttle into one of those crank makes the collective to jump quickly from a position to another resulting as an engine failure in many cases which drove me mad multiple times. So I wanted to know if it would be possible to adjust the engine sensitivity, makin' it stronger... or at least put an option to disable this feature as not everyone can afford a Warthog with descent axis tuning. I tried to put "X Saturation" and even curves on the throttle axis but it's a no-go, issues remain. Thanks.

PIC is still very sensitive to break, even at lower altitudes than target (look up), tested on <51> server.
-
Great server, enjoyed all my flights there. If you feel tired of FC3 Playskool toys, this server is for you.
-
Confirmed and thanks for the quick fix Smiley !

Well that's what I did by going trough BVR mode and switching back CCM. It would be great to have a feedback from RL M2K operator, this behaviour seems odd to me.
-
Talking about CCM, it comes really tricky to unlock a target and switch to another scan mode (for instance vertical instead of horizontal) since the acquisition is instantly. Happened to me on Blue Flag campaign, two bandits were showing up roughly at the same altitude forming a line abreast, I went in the one of the right and for some reason I acquired the bandit on the left using horizontal mode while I had the right bandit right in front of my nose. Then, couldn't find any way to unlock but to switch back to BVR and re-enable the CCM while going boresight. Does it make sense ?

Hello folks, Well, I made some tests and it appears that the RDI still tends to loose track very easily on straight hot targets with no aspect and altitude change. Tested with the latest DCS 1.5.3 Open Beta game version. Does anyone can confirm this issue ? https://youtu.be/GKOkg_un3xY

I made M2.85 today on Blue Flag's server when diving full burners from angels 52 to angels 18. Seems pretty fair to me. Can't touch this, tiiiiii da da daaaaa tumtum ta ta tumtum dadaaaaaaaaa.
-
At this state of the beta, the M-2000C uses SU-25T default sound. You can change the M-2000C current sounds by using for instance Diveplane soundpack which is pretty nice with a few edits.
-
For now, I don't think so.
-
That's what you're supposed to do. It's good to have wingmen aswell, then as a flight lead you can task each ships of your package to scan between specific angels and angles. That's how I proceed.
-
They can as far as I know. Tried on NTTR couple weeks ago.

Hello guys, This issue may be related to this one: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=163613 Turning the radar on and selecting TAS will remove the ability to use antenna elevation on the RDI when switching back to A2A search. Screenshot as follows.

Alright so it looks like some enlightment is required here. You can't really be invisible even with radar off. The aircraft itself and its loadout will always reflect waves of enemy radar at some point. We're talking about RCS. On DCS, most aircraft are old gens aircrafts, we won't have any F-22/Rafale/F-35 until 40 years perhaps, so don't really count on those stealthy fighters. Since we're talking about old gens aircrafts, they have their pros/cons at the time those were built. You can't be 100% stealthy, however you can significantly lower your reflection towards the bandit by adopting some behaviour. Flying radar off will of course let you be more stealthy since you don't emit any waves (RWR/SPO signal) on top of your aircraft reflection but you won't be able to pick-up any threats (forget about the IRST). Adopting a notch attitude, while flying slow (that's why rotary wings below 120 kts can't be acquired most of the time) and low will make you almost invisible since most radar on DCS have a really bad time spotting a target in those condition. Knowing these basics will improve your BVR skills. Now, IRST is not OP, you just have to know how to counter it. Its functionality is based on IR signature, which means heat... You got it ?... Manage your RPM and exhaust temperture (which means bannish burners on cruise and manage fuel consumption) and you'll be fine against those. Finally, there is no "one method" to succeed. That's what makes DCS interesting, everything is dynamic, each situation is different, even more in WVR.
