And reusing my old saved games folder but renaming that MissionEditor folder works too.
-
Solved. Thanks wernst, after my post I renamed the complete dcs folder under saved games and now it's working again.
-
Solved, you can skip this. I was already flying on the new Persian Gulf map for a couple of days when suddenly DCS won't load anymore. It hangs after 55%, even an hour later it's still stuck at 55% at the loading screen. I would say I haven't changed anything. No new graphic drivers, no Windows update, nothing. Even disabling firewall/antivirus etc. doesn't help. Repair/updatedoes nothing, only reporting game is up to date. The log files reports some missing serial numbers but as I said, I was already flying with the Harrier at Dubai and checking the serials reports they are still valid. Deleting the options.lua didn't help either. Now I'm out of ideas. Logfile attached. dcs.zip

Thanks, didn't notice a views.lua in the Entry folder.

As the title says, I'm on 3 monitors (5760x1080 in Nvidia surround mode). I can't zoom out far enough to have a view at all instruments like I have when I only use 1920x1080. I searched the forum, found some posts, tried all (also what I remembered I had done for the A-10C and Mirage) but it doesn't work. Even tried copying the view.lua from the Mirage to the Viggen and the server.lua from the stable version to the Beta version, still no luck. So what is the way to have a wider FOV in the Viggen ?
-
Oh, didn't notice. I only knew there were games/sims I could only record with desktop recording. Maybe I should re-check (or maybe you know) if recording in surround-mode now works ... it would mean I don't have to disable surround mode for my videos anymore (if in surround mode there is a way to only record the middle monitor).
-
Are you using more than 1 monitor AND surround mode ? Shadowplay doesn't work in surround mode anymore. If not, try to enable desktop recording in Shadowplay.
-
Might be you have fixed the comms, but now all filenames in the lua are wrong (and you even have instant action file names for Caucasus in it).
-
Confirm, didn't check mission editor but instant action missions it doesn't work at some. Not when clicking in the cockpit, nor with the keys (no double keybinding, just checked, not even hidden one ... I cleared A and H, set it to different actions and got no message saying it is/was already set to a different action, even resetting them to A and H works, no red lines). Also cross-checked in 2.0, still works in intant action mission runway start and landing mission, didn't try ME.

you install modules and campaign (actually everything) with the module manager.

Unsponsored video by Froogle:

If with A-10 campaign you mean the Enemy Within Campaign than it's a different campaign, has nothing to with the 2 Red Flag Campaigns, the one for the F15 which is already available one one Red Flag for the A-10 which isn't available yet.

different campaign, different settings :)

Do DCS World really handle triple screen setup?
Noksi replied to harf4ng's topic in Multi-Display Bugs
I'm a little (better totally) confused, I'm not trying to accomplish anything so I don't know what I can/should show you. :-) Going with only 1 monitor setting in the options works for you and me as our monitors are set up almost flat to each other, in fact not much difference to one giant physical monitor which displays 5760x1080 (or whatever your resolution is). Now enable the 3 monitor setting in options and you see now the view is totally screwed up ... but we (you and me) don't really need that option. -

Not sure how to get the info about the zoom level after you zoom-in or out of the default zoom level. But you can enable "snapview ..." in the options (I'm on my laptop so can't check the exact wording", use the keys to switch the view and use the key to save it as your new default snapview. -

I bet you didn't choose the option of 3 monitors, isn't it ? He already said, if you stay at the 1 monitor setting the horizon stays at a straight line, you can zoom in and out and it will remain a straight line but that is not full multi-monitor support. I'm on 3 monitors as well but still use the 1 monitor setting because I didn't want to edit files (yet) and can life with it (for the moment). And it isn't to bad as my side monitors are almost in a straight line to the middle monitor (like in your picture, he has them at quite an angle so it doesn't look good/realistic on his end) -
well, it does for me so it can't be a general bug.
-
edit: just remembered, think I read somewhere: prior to Oct., 1st you get both campaigns for free, afterwards there should have been option to choose one of the two. Don't ask me about the link (at least it was here at the forum) and don't quote me to it, this is how I remember it but I might be wrong. lol, it's message #25 in this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2644902&postcount=25 so BitMaster, there should have been an option for you to choose, maybe you chose the A-10C one ?
-
On my end there was around 1 hour between getting the serial and starting DCS for the 1st time afterwards so be patient after you got your serial. And I thought it's self-explaining that you have to be at the store (and logged-in into your account at the ED store), sorry if it wasn't obvious. :-) Well, it said prior to Dec. 1st, not up to, isn't it (I don't know) ? But maybe you are lucky. edit: skip the above, I mixed up Dec. and Oct ... see next post. Yes, the first time you start the 1st mission of course you have to enter your serial number. But there should have popped up the typical enter/activate your serial number window. Have you tried that yet ? You might have screwed it up now with the separate activation program but of course I don't know.

Open the Nvidia settings, open "desktop" in the menu bar and deselect "pan across all windows" in the "surround" option menu. It might be worded different for you, doing a straight forward German-English translation here. See the screenshot (which is in German). That said, if you (I) max. a youtube video it still will max. Firefox etc. across all 3 monitors but the video is fullscreen at my middle monitor. But Firefox and all other apps will only max. onto one monitor. I only wonder why you need to edit lua files etc. ? I have the option to choose my surround desktop resolution of 5760x1080, nothing else, and DCS runs across all 3 1920x1080 monitors.

Correct me if I'm wrong but what does the F-15 campaign has to do with your A-10C ? Me things you get the 2nd Red Flag campaign (the one for the A-10) for free but not this one.
-
You have 3 different keys (your saved one, the ingame one and the one from the store) ?

Cant install F-15 red flag campaign?

check if the key is already bind to your account -
"This mission requires activation"
Noksi replied to SirBunker's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I assume it works for you without the shader injection ? I only ask because you have to enter your serial number on the 1st mission anyway. -
Like I already have said to Daznblast in another thread: if you have no key: go to the store, click "more" on the campaign, "show serial number", grap your key. Next (not sure if necessary but it's what I did) check the number with the licence check in your options at the store/page. Afterwards, sooner or later, the store should change to "bought" and again sooner or later your module manager should tell you the campaign is ready for download.
