Pretty sure I read somewhere that majority of the hornet purchased will be for parts and spares. It's sad to see our military so small and outdated, especially since we are the 2nd largest country in the world.

AS a Canadian I do feel like bombardier is in the right but of course I'm being bias. I'm proud that we didn't buy super hornets as a "interim" aircraft cause that feels pointless (and a message to boeing to **** off). As much as we like to point of that the CF-18's are "old" and "out dated", they have proven time and time again that they are still very capable aircraft. The only thing holding them back is the stress of their airframes. (and you can only upgrade till a certain point). I would prefer if Canada purchased a complete replacement aircraft. Something like a Gripen, Eurofighter, Rafale or even the F-35. Buying super hornets now is a waste of time since it will be only a few decades till they are out dated.

As much as it looks like a really cool and interesting aircraft. Idk if it would be that different and provide anything special after the tucano. Of course I love all planes and eventually would like to see this aircraft see the sim but not yet. The sim right now needs more eastern aircraft.

I have laughed out in dcs either, but with the harrier I had a case where I selected rockets to shoot some fuel trucks. So I pressed pickle and the darn things never stopped firing, they were going absolutely crazy in every direction as I pulled out of my attack run. I looked down and saw that my quantity was set to 22, and multiplier x2.

We always knew this was to be suspected, nothing's perfect at first.

In wags new news letter from the peeps over at Eagle Dynamics, I noticed something in the letter. From the letter: "Our talented 3rd parties are also working hard on other great aircraft like the AV-8B Night Attack S/VTOL, F-14 Tomcat, FC-17, F-4E Phantom II, Mi-24P Hind, Bo-105, and others." WHAT, is that a typo or something? Am I missing something? Who is developing it? So many questions? (Like wtf is a fc-17) If I'm being an idiot feel free to delete this thread!

Just want to remind everyone that while the AV8B was under development, the majority of videos and pictures taken weren't on Nevada or Normandy. Don't let fear control you! It's a path to the dark side.

Too bad I just bought the harrier, otherwise I'd have some thinking to do. I like it, its a different approach and DCS needs something different like this. Sure it won't be as popular as say the f-18, but I don't for a second doubt its ability to bring joy to simmers.

I like it, it seems to be a good aircraft for us to learn how two players can operate the same aircraft / introductory to co-piloted aircraft.

I can just imagine people crashing and killing everyone on deck.

One would think that ED would want the harrier out as soon as possible since they have the F-18 on the way. One would assume they want a wide enough jap between modules. Absolutely stunning pics btw.

That may be a bug in the mission, try using the key bindings and if that doesn't work seek help in the bugs section of the F5 forum.

Are your engines and generators on? Cause if they are on you should be able to trim the aircraft. Without the engines on you can't trim.

There would of been but Air to Air refuelling is hard so he missed the basket :( And tbh so would I
