Don't know what your talking about, I can run plenty of games with 8gb, I just don't put all my settings to the max. Ram is going to have to get a lot cheaper before a lot of people flock to buy it for pure gaming. Biking uses a lot less ram lol.
A lot of more demanding games I can run smooth on my computer (and I only got 8gb), but needing more than 16gb to be able to even enjoy the game is a bit ridiculous.
Everyone here talking bout 16gb or 32gb. And I'm here with only 8gb. I don't really want to spend $200+ upgrading my ram just to play DCS with friends.
I found the flir is amazing now, I can actually spot vehicles now easily, are you sure your using the flir mode in the tpod?
edit: just saw the spoilers now
Take a look at the Razbam section, they are interested in brining a C-130 into DCS but no promises on anything yet, at least they are looking into it.

Was the Mig-23 brought up, I don't know if anyone brought it up, is that a possibility?
edit: nevermind, its a single seater, forgot my bad, hoping for the F-111 still :)
That's amazing, it could add so much more to DCS, all the (insert other flight sim) players will definitely take a look at DCS now. Really hope they go through with this.
Just found this
Seems like the right side is shown, not my video of course (incase the FBI is watching)
Edit: And if an E2C doesn't work, maybe an E-1 tracer, a little older but provides that awacs role.
I was worried that the E-2C was too classified, a C-2 I assume wouldn't be so tough to obtain material, it is being replaced very soon. Since DCS is going towards more carrier capable aircraft, it could add more depth to include the C-2.
A C-2 greyhound would be sweet, it's a carrier based aircraft and it can perform airdrops as well. So if a C130 is too big, the greyhound could provide a great logistics role in the sim. Also if DCS doesnt support more than two engines, it makes more sense for a C-2 greyhound.
