IMHO probably not at full price, depending on the discount they give maybe just for some more stuff to do.

I can certainly understand the realism argument, however as realistic as TrackIR/VR can be they're not the same thing as sitting in an actual cockpit. The Hornet has this option and I use it a lot because even with TrackIR it still makes it hard to see the controls behind the stick without moving the stick itself. IMHO developers should err on the side of the consumer and give them the option, but in the end I'm not a developer and its your product.

Not trying to ring anybody's neck but the toxicity starts when people start to read too much into things and "interpret" what somebody meant, then get upset when their conclusion doesn't happen and blame the dev for it.

STOP IT! It means what it says, Winter, which runs from December 2018 to March 2019. At worst you're talking 3.5 months. Its not a big deal seriously.

Well Wags also said that the Hornet training missions would be released in November and they dropped in December. Granted it was only a week but still. Moral of the story is that I personally dont put much stock in "set" release dates, it will drop when it drops and no amount of speculation and/or complaining on my end is going to change that.

Exactly, devs are stuck between a rock and a hard place with this community. No mater how they handle it somebody is going to get pissed and swear they are the worst devs ever.

True statement! Gamers can be rather toxic to developers at times. TBH I'm surprised EAs are still a thing seeing as how hostile people get when things aren't up to the level they expect them to be.

That's easy, because it was never designed as an air superiority fighter. It was basically wings and a cockpit with a huge radar and a couple of weapons strapped to two massive engines. It was designed as a high speed high altitude interceptor, not a dog fighter.

I'm hoping (probably VERY wishfully thinking) that it releases sometime in the next 2-3 weeks. I HIGHLY doubt it but it would be nice to fly her for a bit before i head overseas for 6 months!

That's what I wanna know! It is in beta that much is for sure. I tried to get them to let me take part due to my upcoming deployment that will more than likely be before the EA release but that got shut down faster then a slick Hornet with the throttles firewalled!

A lot of the functions in the AV8B are not modeled in-sim yet though, as of right now I'd put the A-10C above the AV8B in terms if similarity.

That used to be the case but that went away. I **think** you still can with pre-M2000 modules.

Probably not initially for the EA release would be my guess.

Is it wrong that I keep refreshing and hoping for a surprise "Guess what EA is available!" LOL REALLY hoping it comes out before I leave on deployment but its not looking good. I asked if they would let me try the beta before i left but got shut down almost as soon as the email went out! LOL

Awesome! I just pre-ordered the Bug! Can't wait to fly it, I'm bummed that I'll be leaving before the EA release and won't be able to fly her until I get back stateside sometime in the fall but it's something to look forward to. I've been excited for this ever since Wags's little drop in the M2000 video!
