HI there, I am posting here with the hope that someone can help with a problem I am having with an 8" monitor I bought from eBay. The monitor needs 12V input. working load is 250mA from the specifications. I connected a 12V 2A power supply and the monitor turned on. Left it on for 15 seconds. The I connected the board to the computer via an HDMiI to DVI cable. The board got incredibly hot to the touch and it would not turn on. It was sitting on wood so there was no grounding issue. Not sure what is happening? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! E.

Awesome work! For some reason I got it to work (partially because the displays were screwed up a bit) the first time I ran it. Now all I get are black displays. I did not get any serial or it doesn't show that I can have it for free on DCS Website....who do I write?

HI Sabre, I seem to have a problem with the Manouvers mission: when doing the spiral dive, the instructor terminates the PO because I exited the MOA. I did it twice and had the same problem. What am I supposed to do? Thanks, e.

Hi there. I am trying to configure the server but I don't see an option to Configure Monitors and Instruments. Am I missing something? Thanks. E. PS; Ok, installed Java Runtime and got it to run. Problem now is that it doesn't show the Lumatek monitor under monitors in Settings page. I run 3 monitors for a total resolution of 5850x1080... should I change something there?

HI all, Anyone uses instruments approach plates in DCS. I was looking into Charts Cloud from Navigraph but I'd rather have something free if any knows of something similar? I have DCS Manager but it doesn't have all the charts (ndb, vfr etc) I am using Skyvector as well. Thanks, E.

Hi all, so DCS has been working flawlessly for me since I installed it a few months ago. I have no mods installed or anything like that. I just asked how to reposition the Radio Menu on another thread, I just posted, since I am using 3 screens, and then found the answer: I edited the RadioCommandMenuPanel/ CommandMenu.lua with notepad and changed the MenuWidth=280 to 2200. Now DCS does not start anymore. It starts loading and then it quits when it reaches 100%. Was I not suppose to open the LUA files with notepad? Help! Can't live without DCS! Thank you. E.

Hi guys, quick question regarding some youtube videos I have seen where 4 monitors were used: 3 for the outside view and the hud symbology and one for the instrumentation. Is this done setup done in Helios or the outside view + Hud symbology is achieved in a different way? Thank you, E.
