Is the gun loaded? And do you have the weapons loaded that you wanna drop/shoot?
-
Absolutely true Nineline. But showing the diagonals momentarily (which does not say a whole lot) will not give you feedback. Sure they may show for a tenth of a second but will provide no feedback at all where the closed or dots show you what position the speedbrakes are in. Closed means closed but dots means anywhere between 2 degrees open and 60 degrees open... The only time a pilot will look at this indicator to make sure the speedbrakes are either open or closed.

Because you are right you could move this post to the verified bugs forum.

When you have not selected the DED data in the HUD and press the IFF button on the ICP the IFF page still shows in the HUD in a somewhat fuzzy state.

Low speed warnign tone will sound when one of the following conditions exists: - AOA is 15 degrees or greater with LG handle down or ALT FLAPS switch in EXTEND. - Combined airspeed and pitch angle fall on a point within the tone on area with LG handle up and ALT FLAPS switch in NORM.
-
Okay you win. The first 2 or 3 seconds you can actually see them turning thereafter you see nothing anymore. Bouli out

Diagonals - Electrical power removed from the indicator. Diagonals also appear momentarily during switching. Point is that nobody looks at this indicator. I personally never saw the diagonals during switching.

Will check this week

[REPORTED]Antenna Elevation control incorrect
Bouli306 replied to Tomcat84's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
That is what i was trying to explain as well. I think you did a better job. I agree totally -
The LSWT covers both the condition of LG down + AOA >15 and pitch + airspeed LSWT covers both the condition of LG down + AOA >15 and pitch and pitch] + airspeed. Not exactly true , it is: The LSWT covers both the condition of LG down + AOA >15 OR pitch + airspeed
-
Nope.. that is the Landing gear warning tone. The Low speed tone is continuous.
-
The gear will not compensate at all. But what you might wanna doe is insert a little yaw trim before Takeoff.
-
In real life speedbrakes will open the way it is in the game but they will close at nearly half the speed it is now. So closing is slower than opening. I included a video where you can see this. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=+speedbrakes+F-16&&view=detail&mid=2056DA03819D1D817AD22056DA03819D1D817AD2&&FORM=VRDGAR&ajf=70

You are only programming the radio with presets at the position you are entering the freq's. you are not setting that freq. You still have to enter the preset or freq in the regular scratchpad in COM1 menu.

Shoot the first rockets and you will see the cover falling off.

The low speed warning tone seems to be forgotten? It should be the same sound as the tone that you hear when you go over 15 degrees AOA with gear down although I have my doubts that the tone in DCS is the correct one. I think it should sound like the intermittend landing gear warning tone only continuous until the situation has cleared. The Low speed warning tone operates between 45 degrees nose up until 135 degrees nose up position. Speeds depend on nose attitude starting at 100kts at 45 degrees and 135 degrees and at 200kts for 90 degrees pitch up attitude.

Whenever the engine is shutdown in flight the EPU will autostart and show a run light with HYDZN and AIR light which is perfect. After engine restart the EPU shows only a runlight. It should show a AIR light and/or a HYDZN light depending on power setting: Low Power (<82-90%)HYDZN and AIR light on (and run light) High power (>82-90%) only AIR light (with run light)

Speedbrake indicator shows "closed" when the speedbrakes ar closed less than 2 degrees. The indicator should show the dots whenever it is open more than 2 degrees. When the indicator receives no power dashed lines are shown.

1st stage of the engine are stationary blades (inlet guide vanes) so they should not rotate. Stand behind a Viper (you actually can IRL) and look in the exhaust, you will not see moving parts. But hey..no discussions here.

[NO BUG]Delay between gear down selection and gear activation
Bouli306 replied to Bouli306's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
I am sorry but I saw this in Multi player. Just flew and the delay is not there.. -
So if you adjust you elevation up or down and leave the axis there it will NOT continue to go up or down?
-
In real life when trying to switch from x-ray to yankee or the other way around a pilot should enter a zero in the scratchpad and than press enter. In DCS when you press 0 it directly changes to yankee or xray, this is incorrect.

in the cockpit graphics on the right console (all the way back) there is a hatch for the DTC...this is where normally the DTC is installed. Would be need to have the cockpit depict this.

The master caution light should always be resettable by pressing the Master caution light. There is only one exception for the block 50: - whenever the ELEC SYS light is illuminated on the caution panel. When this light is extinguished the Master caution light will automatically go off For example when I do a SEC check on ground the SEC light illuminates on the caution panel and the Master caution light illuminates, which is correct. But when I now press the Master Caution light it should go off, but it doesn't.

The probe heat switch should be springloaded to center position from the test position.
