  1. When pressing the MAL & IND LTS button all lights show correct and VMS is starting to go through the calls. But when you release the button during bitching betties vocabulary she should stop directly. Just like the lights will go off (which is modelled correct).
  2. The antenna elevation is changed by rotating the ANT elevation rotary (Duhhh :-)) button on the throttle. But when the rotation of the button stops the elevation should remain on that position. Seems you have to recenter the ant elevation button to stop the elevation from going up or down which in incorrect.
  3. A Vipers engine is placed way back and the air intake is sloping upward from front to back. You have to be in a really weird angle and very close to the intake to see the engine at all let alone see the fan blades turning.
  4. Normally when on the ground and the CAT switch is in a setting which is not correct according to the loadout programmed in the SMS the Viper will produce a STORES CONFIG LIGHT on the caution panel with a MASTER CAUTION light. This is not functional. When flying (weight of Wheels) and the config switch is not inline with the SMS page it should also produce a STORES CONFIG LIGHT on the caution panel with a MASTER CAUTION light, but than also the VMS (bitching betty)will give a 'CAUTION CAUTION'
  5. When going vertical up you should see a ZENITH symbol (looks like star) in HUD. When going vertical down you should see a NADIR symbol (looks like a tennis racket).
  6. When you perform a EPU check on the ground and release the EPU/GEN test switch the EPU Run light should go off nearly instantaneous. now it stays on too long.
  7. You should not be able top fire an AMRAAM without radar lock (called maddog) UNLESS you press the uncage button and press the weapon release button. Now you can fire an AMRAAM anytime the Master arm is in Arm and you press weapon release which is incorrect.
  8. The AOA staple in the HUD should only appear when the Nose gear is down and locked. It seems that now the staple appears whenever the landing gear handle is down.
  9. In real life the gear will react directly on gear down selection by gear handle down movement. now there seems to be some kind of delay.
  10. When you select gear handle down, it should directly be a 'red handle' because the gear is not in the position the handle is in.
  11. The turn needle in de Main ADI is not functional. It is always centered regardless of attitude.
  12. In real life you will not see the turbine blades rotation at all.
  13. In a Block 50 Viper when you do a dobber right when in the CNI page of the DED the wind velocity and direction should appear beneath the STPT symbology.
  14. First Vipers were very light and could accelerate easily when going vertical. Starting from blocks 30 the structure gained more weight due to structural stiffness and new components. Als starting from only 200 kts is very low, and probably behind the power curve
  15. Fuel indicator only shows accurate fuel when main gen is online.
  16. Come on! Let's do this!!! https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=RNLAF+F-16+demo+team+video&&view=detail&mid=6FF83089301CF53CE69C6FF83089301CF53CE69C&&FORM=VRDGAR
  17. I only wanted to show you that also on the main console the grey is gone and replaced by black. Same goes for the part of the engine stack and hydraulics. They did this to make the jet more NVIS friendly.
  18. Our jets in the RNLAF were modified starting 1998. They were old Block 10 and block 15 jets.
  19. They really look like the external tank pylons. You should be able to place weapon pylons at stations 4 and 6 but not the pylons.
  20. Selecting the gear down will open all gear doors using hydraulic pressure but Left and Right Main gears are free fall, the nose gear is extended by hydraulic pressure. So the Main gears should not go down with negative G or inverted flight.
  21. Looking at the video of taxi and takeoff I noticed a few mistakes: 1. Everytime the viper has 0 ground speed the FPM seems to reset to the boresight cross...this is incorrect and the "wings" of the FPM should be aligned with the horizon bar; 2. With WoW (weight on wheels) the AOA bracket should be placed next to the FPM at ~13 degrees AOA. In the movie it seems to show actual AOA and that is incorrect; 3. When calculating the takeoff speed (in the movie 155kts) you should rotate at 10kt below this speed in Military power and 15kts in AB.
  22. It is a real cockpit. Most of the MLU Vipers have black cockpit walls
