  1. The desktop app still says "Round 7 ended/server will be offline a bit" etc.
  2. Your PC will start spitting fire. XD
  3. Easter egg does not have to be a reference to something. It is called Easter Egg because Easter Eggs are hidden, not because they make a reference to pop culture :)
  4. I see where you're getting at, but for some your post may look a bit confusing. But okay, the important thing is that most of us, so far, agree that it would be nice to have this feature in mind. Especially with dynamic campaign being planned in future.
  5. Couldn't agree more Sith. Just what I am thinking. TY. P.S. Glad to be on the same page with you after my previous rash rants and unbalanced flame from couple of months ago. You have my public apology, as well as your colleagues.
  6. Can you close thread and possibly rename it to proper name (Headtracker 1.2.4.xxxxxx.xx problem)?
  7. Update: Deleted the files, repaired DCS, Started DCS fine, Reinserted the files and all works. Thanks again :)
  8. That's it mate, thanks for the help and sorting of the thread. Problem solved. Unsupported headtracker. EDIT: Removing them makes DCS start. Will inform on what happens after repairing/inputing them again.
  9. Here are the crash logs and dcs.log after the update. It "DCS stopped working". Tried shutting down and starting up PC again - same. Logs.rar
  10. Bushmanni, I didn't think of many many many maneuvers, just one or two (two - that's why the plural) at right time to make missile loose track - and when it's close to you.
  11. Thumbs up for proper PR and not leaving users to wildly guess what happened and why. Resolbes a lot of tension.
  12. Ofc, I was meaning on subtle sounds that are heard differently when idle or high/full throttle. Thank you Sith. Everyone else as well. Since ED is working together with TFC I believe that they could obtain valid sources on this subject eventually and make it well balanced. No need to guess anything :) Also, as others mentioned and in accordance with Siths comment - yes, this is not just a game it's a sim, but being unable to reproduce some physical effects on the pilot could be made up via sound, visual effects (like blackout does) and introducing for example - pilot being wounded which result in less responsive controls (which compensates that a wounded pilot needs more effort to control the plane and is more obstructed in it).
  13. I believe that in certain WWII airplanes you could hear all kinds of sounds (screeching, cracking etc.) when you put the airframe under stress. It would be awesome to have those implemented, where appropriate, for the sake of immersion.
  14. 1. Make a camera that works in F5 airplane 2. Dedicate a button to make a "screenshot" of what camera sees 3. Add the functionality to share those shots via kneeboard 4. It would be kind of arkade-ish in current DCS, but when we get the dynamic campaigns it could be awesome. Then you could include those in the kneeboard or briefing via in-game functionality. Ofc there are some problems (snapping 300 photos - how to select those to go into the next round etc. but I believe those are all solvable problems).
  15. You sure it wasn't an alibaba popup in the background? :D
  16. That no1 was the thing that confused me into saying you can't change the number of systems few days ago here. No1 is what we desperately need.
  17. Add violent evasive maneuvers to the list. Tho, keep in mind that using them bleeds your airspeed. Also, analyse this: Evasive Maneuvres A2A
  18. I think old russian racks have only one "release sensor" per rack. Meaning no advanced thingy, when you say FIRE - it just releases it all. Somewhere I've read that it is also to ensure hitting the target and maintaining the balance in flight.
  19. Personally, a year ago I had to switch back from Windows 8.1 to Windows 7 and my DCS worked better on 8.1 at that time. Not gravely different, but a bit better.
  20. Yes, that is true, but when it comes to stuff being rendered in a game engine, it affects others too. And even so that departments work sepparately to some extent, they are all under the same umbrella of predefined goals. They can't just jump from a task to task cuz we want it.
