  1. New cable has arrived. After 15min of playing same happened. Yes I agree. It is indeed.
  2. Hey everyone, I'm struggling with my Reverb G2. The lenses go dark, starting with the left lense, thereafter both. Depending on unknown circumstances both come back to life and then go black again. Checked it out with MSFS too - same result. I've red that there might be an overheating issue with the Reverb G2. I put an ice pack on the device and it seemed to help . I'd never had such problems before. I have just upgraded my PC to 64GB RAM. Does RAM have any effect on the VR goggles? Is it worth to try a new cable? Thanks
  3. My Reverb G2 go black one after the other (ST/ MT currently unplayable due to constant micro stutters) and it stays black. You can still follow the head tracking in the screen but lenses are black.
  4. Targets are pointing in the wrong direction when Radar is in RWS. As far as I found out they're only pointing in the direction of the own aircraft.
  5. The TGT SEP is not working. It does not seperate the threats anymore
  6. Good Morning, when I'm flying with external lights on the lights appear much oversized and far too bright in F2 and F3 view at a certain distance (I would say >500m) Not sure if it's a VR related bug.
  7. Thank you for your answers guys! I've contacted HP and waiting for their answer.
  8. I've no clue. Is there grease in VR goggles?
  9. Unlikely. The device is dry and spots appear after a few hours.
  10. Hello guys, yesterday I was struggling with my Reverb G2. Actually it runs normal. But after I'd left my PC a few hours ago I saw several spots under my G2 lying on a white piece of paper. I changed the paper and the surface the paper was lying on - same result. Any idea if that matters ?
  11. The further development of the BMW 801 continued independently from the Fw 190. The intention was to replace the "D-2" with the more capable "F" engine. In some sources you can find evidendences that the improvement of the "D-2" had already been started in 1943. According to the most publications the increased emergency power was introduced shortly after the introduction of the A-8 and went into service with the production of the A-8.
  12. Question concerning the MSAA mask setting: does it has any effect? I'm especially struggling with tearing over areas with many buildings/objects and when wearing HMD/HMCS/IHADSS.
  13. Question concerning Hornet's AGM-65E and Harrier's AGM-65E: I think this question might have already been asked but I couldn't find a topic for this subject: The Harrier's AGM-65E (AGM-65E1) can only be used by buddy lasing procedure. In the F/A-18C targets may be marked by the target pod laser of the firing aircraft too. Does the F/A-18 carry the AGM-65E2 or L? DCS designated both as AGM-65E.
  14. Sorry for the late reply. I think you can close the topic. Rechecked the the engine warm up... It takes a much longer time now. But seems to work well. Well I'm not an engineer but it surprises me that the pressure was at the maximum of the gauge at ~20°C ambient air temperature at the very beginning of the startup (throttle in idle position). Has the Merlin 25 a max. oil pressure limitation? Can we expect a change in the Spitfire's Merlin as well. Thank you for the great aircraft
  15. After the last update the engines warm up pretty slow, oil pressure is at max and the oil temperature remains at the ambient OAT.
  16. Hi guys. I 'm a new G2 user and I'm really happy with the performance in conjunction with the OpenXR Toolkit. But I'm struggling with prop and rotor shimmering/jittering effects and double or triple images of fast moving assets (e.g. flyby with F3). Motion reprojection is on (and I think it has to be on...) Is there any solution to reduce/minimize this effect?
  17. Hi folks, I'm struggling with the VR-Performance on South Atlantic Map. It only occurs in the Apache (have already made attempts with othter A/C like the F-16, AV-8, UH-1). Stutters only occur during hover or low level flight and are increasing when looking to the left or right. At a certain altitude stuttering ends... any ideas? Thanks! Specs: GTX 3080, Rift S Ryzen i5
  18. Yes HAGS has been turned off. I switched on the "Force Mipmap Gen. On All Layers" option in the Oculus debug tool. Did not solve the issue but it feels like a small improvement concerning the stutters.
  19. Thanks guys, haven't noticed an improvement so far. But continue to check out tomorrow.
  20. Sorry I didn't get it. Where and what do you mean?
  21. Thanks guys for your quick replies, unfortunately nothing improved or solved the problem. I have a TM Warthog. Actually it feels like CPU spikes. Is there also a known issue with TM Warthog?
  22. Yes. Systems run the latest drivers.
  23. Hey Gents, I'm struggling with VR in DCS, especially on the Syria Map. The funny thing is that I've noted the problems after a few sessions after an DCS update. So it might run smooth for two or three times and then it start with micro stuttering. I tested pretty much every possible setting (íncluding nVidia settings) , but nothing really helped. The RAM is at an constantly high level of about 28-30GB on the Syria map. Reducing the garphic settings in DCS shows pretty much no effect. I have an Oculus Rift S, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Thanks
