  1. Did you warm up the engine after start up?
  2. Is the Fw 190A slower after the update?!
  3. When accelerating the engine oil pressure goes up to the highest permissible level. It remains even with the engine warmed up or flying at the highest power settings.
  4. Sources mention a speed loss of appr. 12-15km/h. Does anybody know if there are any plans for a C3 injection version?
  5. The weight of the ETC 501 is not considered when being removed in the menu (hopefully considered in aerodynamic calculations!?)

  9. As far as I tested the Fw190A-8 the speed at max. continuous power (1.20ata at 500m/1500ftAMSL) is approximately 60kph less than "published by Focke Wulf during it's flight test in 1943.
  10. I found a solution: I deleted all FXO and metahaders and decreased the solution to 1.3. Seems to work...
  11. Hi Gents, I experience strange stutters in VR. When I start DCS and jump into the first aircraft everything is going on well. If I change the aircraft, sitting in another cockpit I got massive stutters. Even if I jump back to the former one stutters are still there. Does anybody has a solution or has faced the same issues? When I restart the game everything works well again….
  12. Flying and hovering around over desert terrain doesn't result in a brown out anymore. Does anybody know if this is a bug of the latest patch…?
  13. Is there a chance of getting the BMW801D-2 with 1,58/1,65ata manifold pressure? I think this would solve the acceleration Problem (as shown in the diagram)
  14. According to Smith/Creek the designers installed an additional fuel tank, also capable of carrying unprotected tanks for MW-50 and GM-1 with a capacity of 115 of 85 litres resp..
  15. What I would like to know is a solution for bursting tyres (especially at high speeds). I haven‘t flown the MiG-21 for some weeks, but the problem is still the same. Does anybody else has the same problems during T/O or landing or are we talking about a gameplay bug? Touch and Go is always an exciting procedure with this tyres...
  16. With battery off/ Ground power off all wheel lamps are illuminated. Call me fussy but I don't think that's the way it should work.

  18. Does anybody of you know if we will see a modified EGT Limit model? EGT can't be the first Limit in low altitude, even at high temperatures...
  19. I've got the same issue. Some guys tried to delete the autoupate.cfg file.
  20. Finally a great step forward! Really good work, guys! Maybe there's still something to rework along the vertical axis (ground cushion, collective).
  21. Try a forced update: hold Left Shift and right click on the bin folder in your resp. DCS Folder. Click on "open command window" and add "DCS_updater.exe update" enter There's also a tutorial on youtube
  22. I flew an inverted climb for approx. 30 sec.. But thanks a lot a for the information. But what about the P-51's Packard?
  23. Like all carburettor engines the Merlin will tend to stop after a certain time in a negative G flight maneuver. Although they installed a restrictor negative G flight attitudes were not possible for a longer period of time. I don't think the Mk IX RR Merlin was equipped with a pressurized carburettor used in late world war II engines. You can see the same behavior flying the P-51. The engine gets a too rich mixture.
  24. It seems that negative G maneuvers don't have any influence on the engine. I flew negative G states without noticing any change in the engine's behavior.
