  1. Sorry for the late reply. I think you can close the topic. Rechecked the the engine warm up... It takes a much longer time now. But seems to work well. Well I'm not an engineer but it surprises me that the pressure was at the maximum of the gauge at ~20°C ambient air temperature at the very beginning of the startup (throttle in idle position). Has the Merlin 25 a max. oil pressure limitation? Can we expect a change in the Spitfire's Merlin as well. Thank you for the great aircraft
  2. After the last update the engines warm up pretty slow, oil pressure is at max and the oil temperature remains at the ambient OAT.
  3. Hi guys. I 'm a new G2 user and I'm really happy with the performance in conjunction with the OpenXR Toolkit. But I'm struggling with prop and rotor shimmering/jittering effects and double or triple images of fast moving assets (e.g. flyby with F3). Motion reprojection is on (and I think it has to be on...) Is there any solution to reduce/minimize this effect?
  4. Hi folks, I'm struggling with the VR-Performance on South Atlantic Map. It only occurs in the Apache (have already made attempts with othter A/C like the F-16, AV-8, UH-1). Stutters only occur during hover or low level flight and are increasing when looking to the left or right. At a certain altitude stuttering ends... any ideas? Thanks! Specs: GTX 3080, Rift S Ryzen i5
  5. Yes HAGS has been turned off. I switched on the "Force Mipmap Gen. On All Layers" option in the Oculus debug tool. Did not solve the issue but it feels like a small improvement concerning the stutters.
  6. Thanks guys, haven't noticed an improvement so far. But continue to check out tomorrow.
  7. Sorry I didn't get it. Where and what do you mean?
  8. Thanks guys for your quick replies, unfortunately nothing improved or solved the problem. I have a TM Warthog. Actually it feels like CPU spikes. Is there also a known issue with TM Warthog?
  9. Yes. Systems run the latest drivers.
  10. Hey Gents, I'm struggling with VR in DCS, especially on the Syria Map. The funny thing is that I've noted the problems after a few sessions after an DCS update. So it might run smooth for two or three times and then it start with micro stuttering. I tested pretty much every possible setting (íncluding nVidia settings) , but nothing really helped. The RAM is at an constantly high level of about 28-30GB on the Syria map. Reducing the garphic settings in DCS shows pretty much no effect. I have an Oculus Rift S, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Thanks
  11. Just for clarification: Does the AH-64 a Rudder Trim? As already mentioned above H/C's pedals stay in the position you psuhed them in. edit: Maybe an option with no rudder trim would be nice... Solution: Choose option Rudder with no FFB and Springs But is there a trim neutral button?
  12. I have the same issue. In my opinion it has to do with shadows. I'm currently running DCS with Shadows on Standard instead flat and set my shadow quality to medium. I don't know why but with the Shadows on "standard and medium" it runs smoother than on "flat and low" or "standard and low" espacially at low height with many trees or buildings. Not sure if it has to do with the last update!? RTX 3080 AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Rift S
  13. Yes. I switch it also off and on again (reset)
  14. If you let the ground crew mount the HTS on the F-16 after starting up the aircraft HTS shows no threats on the HAD-Page. It worked by just applying battery power so I'm not sure if it is intentional or a bug.
  15. The Patriot STR has a coverage of roughly 120 degrees. But when flying behind a Patriot STR - so outside of the radar coverage - you still got a RWR indication. I can‘t imagine that radar reflection would cause an indication on RWR (if there is one?)
  16. Sorry guys. Works fine. My bad. Forgot to push "load" and mixed it up with F-18.
  17. Can't change the laser codes for the weapons in the inventory sub-page. (I've tried GBU-54, APKWS and AGM-65L [changeable via the boat switch]) Indeed I was able to input the laser code in the Inventory page but it wasn't taken over in the DSMS-page.
  18. I can remember that the F-16's TWS mode had empty squares when targets were marked. Currently they're filled no matter if marked/selected or not. Is this correct?
  19. Do you have a source for that? No offense;) just a discussion
  20. The acceleration is far too quick. The aircraft seems to be too fast at all.
  21. Haven't flown the MiG 19 for a long time. Seems that the acceleration problem still exists. Are there any ideas to solve the FM or the weight/acceleraton issue?
  22. That's not 100% correct. The fighter bombers were equipped with the C3-Fuel injection system increasing the performance. Due to the cooling properties of the additional fuel injected Fw 190F/G were able to use the emergency power for a 15min period. The A-8 was equipped with a similar but easier system - the "Erhöhte Notleistung" which was developed in the first half of 1944. BMW engineers increased the manifold pressure to 1,58ata (1st stage) and 1,65ata resp. (2nd stage). Actually there was no limitation in altitude (Graphic1 (spruemaster.com) but could only be used for a 10min period. According to the sources there was no other modification required and the temperatures were raised by just a few degrees. Actually I've still no explaination for the 3min limit using the 1,42ata power setting. I'm not an engineer but the altitude limitation of the C3 injection system may be a result of a too rich fuel mixture which couldn't be used in high altitudes.
  23. Increased boost to 1,58 or 1,65. The intention to install MW-50 was abandoned after BMW found a solution to increase the engine performance that way.
  24. Any news for the introduction of the "Erhöhte Notleistung"?
