  1. Why the 30 degree bank line? What account of max thrust v mil power?
  2. Anytime Baby! Fighter Fling 2004
  3. Also I got a tip from an ex RL fighter pilot who said not to use the finger tip to try to move the TDC. Use the middle 1/3 of your middle finger. I tried it and with the correct sensitivities it work really well. Seems a little weird but he said that it how the real ones are designed and that lots of RL pilots initially have trouble over controlling the TDC because they try to use the tip instead of the middle 1/3. Once I tried it my control level improved dramatically. Position of the throttle low on a box instead of like me up on the desk could also help. Would be great though if the warthog one was like the real TDC switch.
  4. While checking, ensure that it should only be visible when the gear is down instead of at all times as it (the HUD AoA scale) is presently. See the link to Ivank's post earlier.
  5. Are you sure? The AoA scale reads incorrectly as per the topic and as per your picture at 21 units.
  6. What is the HUD scale then? In the FM it states it is AoA scale? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=123596
  7. I agree with Frostie. It has little downside. It would teach you about scan volume and how that relates to your B scope. It would demonstrate easily how as range decreases aggressive use of elevation/azimuth controls are required because of the pyramid nature of the scan volume. When used in a training environment with appropriate use of labels and such a great tool.
  8. If it took off an engine, it would most likely take out one or both elevators as being a T-tail the elevators are above though slightly behind the engine. Sad though.
  9. Have a read through this http://www.dtic.mil/get-tr-doc/pdf?AD=ADA241347
  10. We really need crumpp to come and discuss the stability and control characteristics as well. We have been down this road before. I think it reliant on the "bar is correct" people to prove there was one as much as it is the role of people to show there wasn't one. What is the most plausible. To me no bar wins that argument.
  11. The Aircraft set does not lend itself to pre D-Day scenarios. K-4 and D-9s + 262s not around for D-Day. I do agree that the map they plan needs to expand to have some of England.
  12. I'm sure that RPG could if Europe goes ok, use the Crimea as a basis to make some soviet WWII stuff.
  13. That may be true but we don't have free playing joysticks. They are spring/force loaded to hold neutral. So even if you are hands free the control positions hold neutral as your virtual hand is holding neutral position.
  14. I don't think so, but I reckon someone who Could have Lots Of Different WWII sim experience.
  15. Why is it in MPS? Surely it should be in Knots or is it a Russianism?
  16. any idea on how to adjust centering forces when the software won't work? Or can someone tell me how to get it going on Win XP 64?
  17. I have a ff2 stick and I am having problems with trim. I have swap FF axis in setup and reduced the trim force to 40 but the stick will not hold stick exact stick position when trim button is released. Tends to move back toward center which makes accurate flying difficult. I tried ff = false in the producer file and was ff stick has no centering power which makes flying very very difficult. Would prefer ff stick to act like a normal joystick (i.e having to centralize controls after trimming ) instead of the ff not holding trimmed position correctly. Ideas anyone.
