I use ProxFlow on chrome browser and it unblocks those videos for me here in Germany. It's an extension app for chrome

Not always the case it double my frame rate in 2.0 just have a stutter problem over Vegas. Back to vr evidently with steam vr aka the Vive if you force Alternate frame rendering 2 in the sli portion of Nvidia control panel have seen reports of almost double the frames in VR. People will have to try it as I don't have vr yet. Or if anybody in Germany want to bring their Vive over I could test it :)

That is only 1080p of course you will have good frames. If you game only at 1080 p no need to upgrade.

Fact I have faith by end of the year we will have much better performance when everything is much more put together on all fronts

Wow the drama. Do realize with the 1080 you can run a much higher pixel density and not be hit fps wise right..... Check all the other. Things besides dcs world and you will see. Problem is dcs world not our machines with top gear. Give it time to get sorted no hardware is a magic bullet for dcs world performance woes

Ya I'm on US side and well won't get into it as I'll just want to flip a desk. We are our own worst enemy and we can't talk about it here but Politics and stupidity and PC culture within our ranks destroyed any objective we had on the matter.

Well I would think if you can't walk around and sitdown in your own pit with eyes closed then that's a bigger problem you may have coordination disabilities. Either way the forward looking camera helps with that correct Vive users?

That should only work for your 2d screen. The Vr stuff is basically separated from resolution settings like that so the tweak for it is in game or via a configure tweak in steam vr from my understanding anyway.

Wow wonder if everybody else using the Vive has same problem hope others with it comment. What Gpu and processor do you have?

Ya I hate to say it but I've recently done the same thing. Removed 1 980 and am pleasantly surprised how things are running at 4K. Will add though today I will be picking up a Gainward Phoenix GLH 1080. Sli is great when it works but currently it's just become to much of a hassle for me and the busy work schedule.

Yes it's a real big kick to the nuts that's for sure. At this point I give up and will try again after deployment.

I would tinker more as that doesn't sound correct when compared to everybody else. Unless everybody's fps figures are based on an empty map and not near Sochi... Bottom line is none of our hardware is going to run it perfectly rift or vive, allot of work is yet to be done. Remember this new tech is very sensitive to drivers and settings so do good pci's before making final decision.

Same thing in Nvidia 3dvision, something needs to be done to utilize gpu even more and lessen the burden on the single thread on cpu.

Well it shouldn't run on cpu but the gpu, at least I would hope so?

If you have cougar mfd's I recommend mapping your pca panel to it. Works wonders

Ok we'll obviously maybe some lack of communication here. Reason I figured out it works and even tried it in game is because we have done it with somewhat similar in function systems in real life. Sorry if that goes against wiki links or anybody else's experience. But it is what it is. Now about that weather, 4 dynamic systems with a base of 22 on turbulence is pretty good.

I'm same way if I use Nvidia 3D. Start d since the update to edge engine. I will eventually do a full system re install when I get a 1080. Until then I suggest doing a repair and deleting the dcs world folder in your saved games before the repair. Make sure to save any input setting you had made though.

Ya bro in basically running it maxed out at 4K and am locked at 60 except for processor moments. That's with single 980 I need sli in 2.0 to achieve the same
